Enjoyed my time here very much for my birthday! Very great dessert I really loved the bread pudding and they have a beautiful space inside for events or get together! Check out the video of the place on IG @JadaExploresAll!

We attended last night. Party of 4 . No one enjoyed dinner. My food was lukewarm at best. The mussels were just mostly empty shells. The lobster tail was tough and over cooked. We had martinis both gin and vodka from the bar . from the bar. We all agreed it tasted like watered down vodka and gin. . Had tartufo for dessert it came soft and almost melted. We probably will not go back. I give this place two stars. Although our waiter was good. They did the right thing by taking my dinner off the bill. For that I give them 5 stars on customer satisfaction But would take a lot for us to go back.

Did this place shut down? We reserved on open table and showed up place was empty locked and no cars in parking lot. Should remove open table profile if not in business?

Wanted to try somewhere different and looked up on open table some restaurants and reviews. I found Hudson Square in Matawan and the pictures showed a really nice looking restaurant . I read the reviews and most were good. It had a lot of openings for a Saturday night so we decided to try it without a reservation. When we arrived there were a few cars in the parking lot. It’s Saturday night places are busy. This restaurant replaced a catering hall so the parking lot is huge. The entrance is in the back. Beautiful restaurant nice bar area. Lots of empty tables. Food was good we had meatballs , branzino ( it was the whole fish) but the waiter told me that. The chicken dish with artichokes and potatoes was a large portion. I was disappointed they did not have cucumber volka for a cucumber martini and no wine list just glasses of house wine which was good by J Lohr. Overall I enjoyed my meal and quiet atmosphere. By 930 there were just six people sitting at bar. The waiter was excellent and attentive. The bread on the table was good . Everyone should try this restaurant at least once. Prices were like everywhere else. This restaurant said they had a DJ at 930 but didn’t see one. This restaurant needs a good DJ with following and more word of mouth referrals. Also some specials. I wish him well and will come back.

egular customers, new customers, and general peception is to NOT honor a gift card. You may want to consider the fact that many states have imposed fairly strict law s a t u 6tÿif⁸bout such matters. If fraud was involved then that's a completely different story. Moreover, Iwonder if that $200 was worth it to the owners???

The restaurant this wants to be and the restaurant that it is are two different things. What do I mean by this? The restaurant has the personality and pricing of an upscale dining experience, but in reality I have been to chain restaurants that have served better food. Let’s start with the bread at the table, after requesting bread multiple times and an extended delay we were told it was being heated. The bread amounted to what appeared to be Pillsbury pop&fresh dough and some pretzel rods (not what you would expect in an upscale place) The garlic shrimp appetizer was over cooked to the point where they were like rubber. I can only assume they were previously frozen and cooked to thaw. The entree was no better, over cooked chicken stuffed with spinach and what was supposed to also have prosciutto in it. There was so little prosciutto you might as well not bother. Did the restaurant have a nice atmosphere? YES, Was the service good? I would say SLOW but acceptable. However the food was poor and unfortunately I could not see myself going black to this restaurant based on that.

The night life there is not bad considering there not another club for 30 miles , and that's the only reason I give them 3 stars l. The menu was horrible and there prices are ridiculous they charge 60$ for a dish of pasta . Your not Carmines guys lower your prices and maybe I'll come back the food was ok definitely not worth 60$

I had dinner this past Saturday with 10 of my friends and everything was excellent. The Grilled octopus was cooked so perfectly we had to order an additional 2 more after we finished our original appetizers! All around the food was delicious. My friend is still raving about her stuffed chicken, she said it was light and airy not heavy at all, I remember she didn't leave any to go to waste! The ambience is very cool & they staff is super nice. Jeannette was continuously checking to see if we needed anything throughout the night. then we finished the night off with some dancing and drinks at the bar. Highly recommend and will be back!

Fabulous food and service! The decor is sleekand stylish, perfect for a romantic dinner or a large group. The bar is soooo beautiful! I had the paella and the seafood was fresh and so delicious. We tried alot of appetizers and they were all delicious but my favorite was the octopus which was perfectly prepared. Definitely coming back for some of the specials like the brunch and happy hour. Kudos!

Our server Lauren was very attentive and friendly. The food was excellent! I had the meatballs and the half roasted chicken and it was delicious! Simply very satisfying! Ate the food the food once it came out and forgot to take photos Trust me, they were presentable. The ambiance was beautiful too! Love this place and highly recommend it to others.

I have never been one to write many reviews good or bad but I needed to warn people. First, is this a fine dining establishment, a nightclub, or a steakhouse as advertised. My wife and I went there with two friends on Friday night, it's so unbelievably dark in there with neon blue lights on the wall and tiny production lights in makeshift tropical trees in styrofoam I might add. The four of us were at this tiny little table that could barely fit our appetizers, rotten beer tartare that is comically called "steak & eggs" and dry meatballs in prego sauce with cheap reheated rolls. And as far as steakhouse goes, I ordered a $60 Delmonico ribeye medium well and received it medium rare full of fat and my partner Tom ordered a NY strip medium and got it charred closer to well done. French fries and a greasy oily foot long pepper on the side. Was told the only sides they offered besides was mashed potatoes, spinach, and asparagus NO OTHER VEG smh. Needless to say we chose to skip dessert and go some place we could actually hear ourselves think. Only reason I even left 1 star was because we actually enjoyed the waiter we had. At least he tried to make things better for us however he could. They should think about a new kitchen staff IMMEDIATELY!
