There was a point in time I ordered from this place 3-4 days in a row because it was so good. Fast forward to just recently, I ordered and was extremely disappointed. Since I ordered early in the day, I expected that everything would be fresh. Quite the opposite. It tasted like it was 2 days old. The baked mac and cheese didn’t even look like baked mac and cheese, it was old, dry, and crusted. The sweet potatoes were mush. The only saving grace was the meat, which actually had great flavor but was still..not fresh. I loved this place before but I just don’t know how you justify giving old tasting and old looking food to paying customers. That was really disappointing, and despite them being on POINT when they are on point, this would make me think twice about ordering again. Customers need consistency, and I was left seriously dissatisfied and still hungry after that last meal because the sides were practically inedible. Completely different looks wise and taste wise than before.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at L&T, a soul food restaurant that left an indelible mark on my taste buds and heart. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with warmth and a genuine passion for delivering an authentic soul food experience. The ambiance of L&T exudes a charming and inviting atmosphere, reminiscent of a cozy Southern eatery. The rustic decor, soft lighting, and soulful music created the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable dining experience. Now let's talk about the star of the show—the food! L&T's menu boasts a tantalizing array of soul food classics that pay homage to traditional Southern cuisine. Every bite was a revelation, packed with flavors that transported me to the heart of the South. From the perfectly seasoned and tender fried chicken to the melt-in-your-mouth braised short ribs, each dish was a celebration of soulful cooking at its finest. The sides at L&T were nothing short of exceptional. The macaroni and cheese, collard greens, and candied yams were prepared with meticulous care and attention to detail. The flavors were rich, comforting, and made with the freshest ingredients. It was evident that the chefs at L&T poured their hearts and souls into every dish. The service at L&T was exemplary. The staff was friendly, attentive, and well-versed in the menu offerings. Tonight we tried food from L&T's Soul Food. I had the fried chicken, yams and collard greens. The chicken was so delicious. Wonderful flavor! The yams were also very good. They tasted like a dessert. I tried the collard greens. I've tried them at other places but was never a fan but tonight they were awesome. My granddaughter hates vegetables but I had her try them. After that she kept taking them off my plate She also loved the Mac and cheese and yams and her chicken wings. We were very impressed with the food and will definitely be eating from their again. I can't wait to try their desserts!!!
