Had lunch there today & was very disappointed. Had eaten there several times before & was happy with food & service. Today I was not. The quiche I ordered had a strange, tough, semi-crust & it was over cooked & dry. The side of fresh fruit had very unripe fruit. The door to the cafe was open the whole time while were there & it was freezing !! When I asked if they could close the door for a bit & was told no. I could see if it was 80 degrees outside like yesterday but today it was overcast & only around 60 degrees. Lastly, when the check came, they automatically added a 18% tip even tho we were only a party of 2 people !! They actually cheated themselves because I usually tip 20% when I eat out. Will not be back.

Horrible Experience! AVOID AT ANY COST! Stopped here to have crepé, walked in and the manager kept working on her calculator and after 10 mins asks what do you want? Sign we ignored! Sat down and were given a menu. Placed order for a simple banana strawberry Nutella crepe, came out in less than 5 mins (was amazed with the speed of service) and then first dig and the crepe was premade, they just heat it and serve it! When we went to speak with the manager, she seemed totally unconcerned and said this is how we make, you don't like it, no worries don't pay! Extremely rude and disrespectful! Over all a pathetic place with sub standard food and underwhelming service.

Food was good. Must try - mango smoothie, iced hazelnut cappuccino. Those were best.

I have been going to Cafe Paris for several years. All the food is always fresh and delicious so you can easily enjoy anything on the menu. I love their french onion soup! Clara and her staff are always very welcoming, the service is excellent and the decor is brilliant.

Great large portions for very reasonable prices. The food was top notch and immediate seating on sunday during prime breakfast time versus waiting 1 hr+ for hatch 44 or le peep. Definitely adding this gem to the brunch list =)

Really horrible attitude from the storeowner. She gave me a XL coffee cup and wouldn’t let me order a small even though that’s what I requested, and she gave really horrible attitude to me and other customers. Not

CHECK YOU RECEIPTS AND TIP ACCORDINGLY. Food was good. Strolled in late Saturday evening with wife and two kids. After we ate, kids were tired so I thought none of it to look over the check since we were paying cash and were a small group. Well, it was the next day when I realized that my @$60 bill ballooned into almost $100. How? Alone with the 4 sandwiches, 2 hot cocoa, 2 coffees and our own calculated tip, 18% tip was automatically added on to our check with the actual total scribbled off of existence. VERY DECEIVING PRACTICE that ruined my experience that I will never go to this location again. And if I do, I will make sure to look over my check.

The staff is so friendly! The food is amazing! It's so pretty inside! There have been times my daughter and I were just going in for coffee and ended up getting a bowl of the butternut squash soup even in the summer! At times we have split crepes for dessert or gotten delicious sandwiches. We have never had a bad meal. It's a great place to stop by and feel like you are in a Parisian cafe!

This place was atrocious, and the only reason it is still open is probably because it is on a Main Street, the omelet I had was so dry and then they topped it off with dry chicken inside with mushrooms(AND I SAID I DIDNT WANT MUSHROOMS) when we got the bill it said written out NO MUSHROOMS on the bill itself, however there were more mushrooms than chicken on my omeletOn top of everything else the egg itself was gross, and we had to ask them to redo it. My hash brown was so OILY and gross, and barely edible and looked like it was microwaveable ones from the DOLLAR TREE.My wife’s eggs were undercooked, and served broken, then we asked for them to redo it and it was so overdone. The cleanliness of this place was disgusting , my cup still had marks on it and was not cleaned well at all, the lady across from our table started shouting that there was lipstick on her coffee mug, WORST food EVERIt is absolutely DEPLORABLEOn top of everything else the bill had a total, 4%Credit Card fee, and then the total was CROSSED OUT, and they decided to say they choose their own gratuity and use the excuse that it is a small business, well so is everything else in the street, and they don’t do that, the fact that this place has been around since 2002 amazes me, the only thing it has going for it is the cute storefront, but LOOKS ARE DECEIVING BEWAREWe will NEVER be coming back again, and it was expensive

I am not one to complain or to ever send food back- This is the worst food I’ve ever had. It looks and tastes like jail food. The plate in the photo cost $10. They should be embarrassed to ever serve anyone this. Not only was the food awful, but the cups were dirty. The table next to us had lipstick stains on their mugs, and our water was obviously dirty. Not only did the entire experience suck from start to finish, but then they crossed out the actual cost of the food on the bill and UPCHARGED my bill and the table next to ours. They didn’t give the option of the cash price (what they completely crossed out), and automatically added the 4% to use credit card (which is higher than any other establishment). Then they wrote the gratuity they EXPECTED on the bill and said “we get to choose our own gratuity.” I have never in my life experienced a “restaurant” like this. They should be ashamed.I will truly be shocked if I don’t get food poisoning from this place. & the way the owner responds to these reviews is very telling. Before the owner even says anything- this isn’t just an online complaint, each issue was brought to your attention. Learn an ounce of professionalism. Your staff would get more tips without your deceptive approach

What a cute and elegant cafe with an amazing menu! My first time here, and my first time in Metuchen. But I will surely be back to try as many other menu items as I can. I was so thrilled to finally get a taste of beouf bourguignon, a dish I have wanted to try since seeing Julia Child's recipe. I thoroughly enjoyed it along with the buttery mashed potatoes. The macarons and chocolate croissant for dessert were also excellent. Many thanks to our waitress who answered our many questions and accommodated our special requests!

Really cute brunch spot! The food and caramel latte were good, but service was pretty slow. Other than that I’d definitely try more of their menu!
