One of my go-to local spots for takeout where I know I can get something reasonably healthy. I usually stick with a grilled chicken platter and green veg. They do not skimp on the garlic on the green beans and broccoli, which I appreciate! When I want something less healthy, the fries (somewhere between a curly fry, a potato wedge, and a steak fry?) are yummy and the little cornbread muffins are also good. Wasn't a fan of the wings but ya can't win 'em all.

I was here twice.. I ordered the same exact thing both times, but the second visit I didn't get the gravy? Anyway, no big deal. The chicken was very tender and seasoned very good. The brocoli was good and the fries were very good. It's about $13-14 for a dark meat thigh,leg piece with the 2 sides and a fountain drink. Didn't realize this was a chain resturant until today. I'll be back for sure.

Ok, the place was clean, and empty. The chicken is PHENOMENAL, can't hate there. However that's all I tried so far. The customer service wasn't bad, but it was barely there. Especially for it to be three of them there and just me, didn't expect such a cold greeting. Warmed up a little once they saw I ordered ahead. So I don't have any complaints really and the chicken was really really good! So, I will return! And I will try more things from the menu so that I can either go up or down in stars. But ultimately I CANNOT deny how damn good that chicken was!!

This is a great addition to the many metuchen's restaurants. I said just went above most is that it's casual dining. I'm touching has a lot of sit-down restaurants, but a short supply of casual ones where you can just get your food and sit down. The food comes out quick. The servers are friendly. The deals are good. And the sides are tasty. I hope to see more restaurants like this in Metuchen soon.

Tried it yesterday. Got a spicy chicken sandwich and fries. The chicken sandwich consider of tenders but it was perfectly cooked. Crunchy without being overly dried. It wasn't particularly spicy, but more flavorful than anything. The fries were hot and delicious. They are somewhat like wedges but thinner and they are seasoned. Order was done quickly. Will come back to try other things as well.

I really wish I would have of taking pics of the food before I ate it. I looked so good I just couldn't wait to dig in. The food was definitely a few notches up from your typical restaurant. I ordered the tenders and fries and those chicken tenders were so juicy inside and perfectly crispy on the outside. The fries were so darn tasty too. I also ordered a small chicken and rice soup which was so delicious I wish I had ordered the large. My husband ordered the chicken with mashed potatoes and corn and he said it was amazing (husband is not so easy to please). We will definitely be ordering again.

Came across La Rosa when escaping the rain from Henri, and we are so glad we stopped in. Friendly service, clean restaurant and kitchen. Great price, great portion size and, most importantly, great food. Salad, sides and crispy fried chicken were all delicious. Kids enjoyed their Mac and cheese with delicious, thick, twisted fries and garlicky broccoli. Everything was served with tasty cornbread muffins. Comfort food with healthy options.

Food is amazing. Had a spicy wrap, amazing, half chicken, amazing, chicken tenders, amazing, Mac and cheese, amazing. Mash potatoes, amazing. La Rosa special sauce, amazing. Their potatoe wedges were the best I’ve had in a while. Owner also gave me a free amazing cookie. Very nice staff. Highly recommended. Some of the best food I’ve had in a while.
