The food is delicious. The family that runs the place is warm, gracious and hospitable, and they even deliver locally! I hope it's not true, but I'm hearing that they are closing. Their website says they're temporarily closed, but I saw online that a new restaurant will be taking over this space. If so, this is a great loss. Best humuus ever!!!

A rare Palestinian gem out here in Metuchen. The menu is good all around, and they have some interesting novelties for sale inside (pomegranate molasses, rose water, etc). Prices are modest, it's a good place for a tasty lunch or quick dinner. The interior is casual and comfortable, well worth a dine-in experience. They have some handcrafted goods from Palestinian artisans for sale and a generally chill atmosphere. Not a fancy place, but a relaxing one.

I love the z'atar fries. The hummus is unsurpassed. The salads and sides are all fresh. And to finish off the desserts do not disappoint.

My family and I have been coming here for years and the food never disappoints. Recently we asked them to cater my father's birthday and my son's 1st. The food was a huge hit. Everyone loved the mixed kebab and the chicken tangine (I hope I spelled that right). The presentation was nice, the food was plentiful, the price was reasonable, and most important, everyone left raving about the food. Overall the whole even was a success, but food is definitely one of the most important!

My second time here and I love this place! Super authentic, tradition menus and their food is prepared spot on! This time I ordered the M' tabal with pita bread to go. My order was prepared quickly and was fresh! One of my go to places in the area.
Delicious, freshly made, authentic Middle Eastern food. Sandwiches and wraps are great, but I enjoy even more eating family style with several selections for all try, especially the falafel, hummus, grilled halloumi cheese, salads. Highly recommend.

The lentil soup was a huge disappointment, I couldn’t eat it and even my neighbors dog refused to lick it, dried and cold! Rice plater was okay, they made it up by giving free water, but price is so high probably since it’s located in Metuchen, it takes forever to wait for our food, 1 hour and 27 minutes to be exact. Lastly the place is too politicalized, we want to eat! Not wanting to know their political stand or where the money we spend on earning would go to!

I love coming to this place. As a "Middle Eastern," or more accurately a Levantine, the food is 100% authentic and always fresh, and the staff is so welcoming and kind. It feels like you're coming home to family dinner. They have the best spinach pie! I'm also very appreciative of the decor and the rich culture the restaurant provides and highlights. This place is definitely a small business I always wish to support!
