Live nearby for the last three years and my husband always bugged me to dine inside and I would argue because it always looked so filthy from the outside and uninviting, front looked unkept and windows were always very dirty looking but I finally gave in the other night. It was quiet inside only a few tables but the place was absolutely filthy. Food, crumbs napkins, and filth on the floors and under the booths, and tables. There were enough workers sitting doing nothing so there was no excuse why no one was keeping up with the cleaning. Restaurants of any kind do not realize that it is so important to many people what your restaurant looks like from the outside and especially the inside. If your that filthy to the public eye I could only imagine your kitchen behind closed doors, makes me cringe thinking about it. I will never return or order again, I wish my husband proved me wrong but he did not. it was so unappetizing I could not even eat my meal. And they are so cheap, no crackers with your soup should be automatic but you have to ask and they give you and attitude when you do and they forget pickles and coleslaw with all outgoing orders on purpose because they are too cheap to give it, enough with the COVID a excuse you've been busy again for the last few years, and your takeout was probably the busiest it ever was during the worst of COVID anyway so enough with that excuse. clean up your act you should be ashamed of yourselves I don't care how nice everyone says the owner is he shouldn't have his loyal customers subjected to such a dirty establishment, do better!! CLEAN and invest some money into the place it looks old and dated as well!!

I'm sorry to be writing this review after being a loyal customer for more than 20 years, but I feel it's time for a reality check. Dining in is great... food is typical Jersey diner fare and the service is always friendly. Our issues are with the takeaway orders. After 9 consecutive problems with takeaway orders we have to say something. Every single order has had multiple issues... missing items, wrong orders?!...missing condiments and on and on. Tonight's order was so disappointing it hurts. The food has gotten very expensive and takeaway items should be given the attention it needs. Your staff clearly needs to be retrained on the importance of filling orders properly. They are representing your business with every order they fail to fill.. they need to do better and management needs to oversee this. Serious improvement is needed.
Alex hooked me up with bread pudding to go. Great flavor. Will be back for a sit down dinner for sure.

Staff wonderful. Building currently under renovation. Menu had lots of burgers, sandwiches, panini, and other hand held options. Not many dinner choices. Prices a bit high for the dinner choices they have.
