I've been a long time patron of Millburn deli and love the sandwiches but am increasingly disappointed by the attitudes of the employees. I was in the Millburn location recently and was questioning the price of the Tuscan sandwich (the price on the board says $16 but the sandwich costs $32). Apparently ,the price on the board is for half a sub but they don't sell half subs, so the sandwich is actually $32, which is outrageously high for a sub sandwich. I was casually questioning the young lady (with a big chip on her shoulder) at the register trying to understand the price difference, and was spoken to very rudely and dismissively. I never did get an answer why the sandwich was twice the amount of the posted price. After I paid she turned to another employee and they both started laughing. I As good as the sandwiches are, I don't know if I'll be back. The customer experience is much more important than the taste of sandwiches.

I use to love this place. My husband and I got the pastrami sloppy joe and what a big disappointment. They should call it coleslaw sloppy joe because pastrami was missing. I've never had a sandwich lack meat as much as this one did. Meat made made an appearance about as much as the the small sliced pickle on top. Two rows of nothing but coleslaw with a very very thin layer of meat on the bottom. Heck they had more cheese on the sandwich than meat. If they are gong to ration out the portions like this, not for me

Love letter to Millburn DeliMillburn Deli - what can i say? You hit the spot every time. Rainy days, cold days, snowy days, sad days. Sometimes you just need a great sandwich for the soul. You never forget the chips. My favorite times together are when the weather is warm. A sandwich, a bag of chips, and a drink accompany me up whatever hill, mountain, or trail my legs take me. The perfect spot is always made complete with the best deli sandwiches in NJ.Love, Vivian & friends.
