Amazing, does not do their shawarma justice. Very authentic , from the flavors to how packed and generous the portions are. Only complaint is you don’t have the pick of toppings such as pickled veggies for Ex.This is a welcoming establishment offering great eats for all cultures. There are no politics inside which I love , but they show the faces of innocent children, women and men who have suffered from savage acts.. this is a duty they don’t have to do but they choose to do it knowing the harassment they can face. It’s important for everyone of us Americans to understand what is happening and not let their pain and abuse go silentCan’t this recommend this place enough 10/10

Once a reputable establishment, this restaurant has recently implemented a policy of automatically including a 20% tip on every bill, irrespective of service quality. Traditionally, tipping is a voluntary reward for excellent service, but in this case, the policy seems to disregard this norm. During my recent visit, the service was underwhelming; I found myself seeking out our server for basic needs like water refills. While the food remains exceptional, the service does not justify the mandatory tip. It is my belief that the restaurant should focus on improving staff training and wages, rather than shifting this financial responsibility onto the customers.

We had the Sabich, Moroccan Meat Cigars and Turkish Bourekas. The food was amazing! It was by far the best restaurant of its kind within three counties. Looking forward to trying other options with our next visit. Highly recommend Pita on Essex!!!

Food was fresh and good, but drinking glass of icetea was small ,for the price ,and their policy for gratuity,is ridiculous a party of one is expected to give 20 % ,It against the law to demand a gratuity, it should be at the patrons discretion. After all its not fine dining establishment it's less than a diner ,sorry you must up your game ,and a customer will nod you when the check is ready for you to pick up.You send multiply time to the table,pleas get some etiquette, after all the food was excellent ?
Ordered the gyro sandwich and appetizer of hummus. Delicious with terrific, attentive service! Best lunch of the year
