“My husband and I came for our 5th anniversary and had the best service and the meal was better than we could have imagined!!! We had Ellie as a server and Mike as a bartender, and it was the best experience we’ve had at restaurant since before Covid. Pork chop used to be really cooked to perfection and moist, however lately it has been dried out and overcooked. Mac and cheese lost the amount of cheese it usually has on it, and noodles were undercooked the previous two times. Must have changed the cooks in kitchen, who knows.“

One of the Managers, if not, the Manager, by the name of Charlotte, was extraordinarily delightful, courteous, friendly and very accommodating! “This was it first time here and we were a party of five. The fact the restaurant is in a 3 story house adds to it's charm but the service and food were on point. We sat at a small cove near the bar and one of the bartenders took care of us. He was great. We never had to ask for refills and he checked on us often to make sure we were ok. I have yet to be disappointed by anything off the menu. Their Tres Leches French toast comes drizzled with Maple syrup, two scoops of whipped cream and loaded with blueberries and strawberries. A perfect sweet treat. The winner for me is the coconut guava cream pancakes. These are fluffy creamy and perfectly sweet. I can’t say enough about their pancakes plus I’m a sucker for guava. Their omelet is delicious and filling. The Hot Honey chicken & waffles will leave you stuffed. The sweet waffle and savory fried chicken is the perfect mix. And finally to discuss my favorite dish, the huevos Rancheros. This is hands down the best huevos rancheros I’ve had. Their chorizo is so packed with flavor and spice it makes the dish. This dish couldn’t be any more complete with its combination of chorizo, shrimp and cooling guacamole plus the two sunny side up runny eggs on top of two crispy tortillas. Highly recommend this place but warned there is a wait so be sure to make a reservation if you’re not a fan of waiting“

The menu is a good size for an ice cream place, they don't have 5 million flavors but when the number gets that high they often get real weird. The fun flavors they do have seam limited and on a rotation, but I think this allows them to provide a higher quality product from what I've had. I'm fairly certain this is a husband and wife team and I have only dealt with the wife, but she is always very friendly and has a general chipper demeanor.This is a great place for a small date night treat or to take the kids and get a little ice cream.“

Then I add their la diabla sauce on top to make it spicy. Chefs Kiss. The shrimp la diabla is also a good go to and that thing packs heat! The residential cat was out and about. I'm pretty sure I saw it last time I dined outside too. The cat is real chill. It just roams. A side note: they updated the look of their menu. Reorganized the flow of items, text size, and prices.“
