We loved it! Super awesome staff and the food was delish! The aloo kulcha and paneer paratha was awesome in the breakfast! Staff was nice enough to give us a taste of the bhaji .. loved it .

I ordered for takeout dinner and the chicken tikka masala was disappointing the chicken was hard as you can see in the pic the threads of the chicken was so coarse I threw it away couldn't eat it. The goat taste was better and cooked but had lot of bones. Very disappointed in the QUALITY of the food. The garlic naan was good. I will not be ordering there again

This restaurant has gone downhill since it opened years ago. The breakfast on weekends is sparse but edible but they do not serve chai tea. No tea for breakfast in an Indian restaurant! Yesterday we went with friends (against my better judgement) for lunch/dinner about 2pm. Again, no chai tea and no idli. A south Indian restaurant with no idle and no chai tea! I mentioned you know it is Sunday and you will be having more customers how can you possibly not have tea or idli? They are also understaffed. Again, it is not a satisfying experience. Even if they had a big order that was last minute, they still have to think about the customers coming in and keep resources to accommodate customers coming in for lunch/dinner. Very disappointing experience. No more. Mrs Kumor just lost customers.

It was takeout but unfortunately food was not tasty Kaju Kari was full of kaju and with very little gravy And tested bland. Methi paneer was supposed to be vegetarian but They made it non-vegetarian adding chicken! Even Dal Fry was lacking authentic Punjabi test.

I had a party at home for 50 for my daughters birthday and catered all the food from Mrs Kumar’s Monroe NJ and the food was GREAT, we had a live Dosa station and a variety of dosas masala dosa, spicy gun powder, dosa paneer, dosa cheese, Mysore masala dosa, ghee dosa and green chili onion dosa the dosa station was a huge hit of the party all my guests loved it. Then we had chicken biryani, fish pakora, tandoori fish, chicken kadai, jeera rice, palak dal, Guti vankaya, vegetarian Manchurian, peanut chutney, coconut chutney, sambar, raita carrot halwa to name a few.Mrs Kumar staff was very friendly courteous and they took good care of my guests. I had a 6 member crew of Mrs Kumar who did a splendid job. They were so nice to the kids older people all the guests. I had guests of varying ages.The party was a great success and Mrs Kumar Food is superb. We went to Mrs. Kumar's for dinner, since it had some good reviews. But I just don't understand how does this place have such great reviews! I felt so unimportant and neglected as all they cared about was their pick up orders. Food quality and quantity was mediocre, no spice or taste whatsoever. We ordered Peshawari naan which felt more like honey filled thin crust pizza. The servers brought our food but did not bother to bring our plates. Upon asking if they are going to provide us with plates, the server went inside to get the plates, but instead he came out with some DoorDash order. And then he went in to get us some plates. And lastly, while I was still eating, the waiter took not just my partner's plate, but he also took away my naan plate. Now, what if I do decide to eat another piece of naan? Horrible service and horrible food! To my surprise, (atleast I have never experienced this before) they charge card fee on top of other fees?!? I do not recommend this place to anyone.

My go to Indian restaurant. Always good, if I can make any suggestion maybe cut your meat pieces smaller on dishes but other than that would recommend.

I had a chance to dine in at this place during my New Jersey visit and it was an absolutely awesome experience. The place is really cozy and the staff is quite welcoming. The food was fantastic too overall a great place if you are looking for a good mixture of veg and non-veg dishes from both north and south.We tried Assorted Tandoor platter, Fish Pakora, Chicken Biryani, Dal Tadka and Goan Fish Curry. I loved all the dishes but Goan fish curry and Tandoor platter was the best. Anytime you are in New Jersey this place is must visit.
