Food is still good but man, does this place need a good cleaning! Menus are filthy and smell and the salt, pepper and sugar shakers are sticky and just disgusting.Please, Peter's diner owners, give the place a good scrubbing and replace your very old and dirty menus!

This place sure has changed. Used to be the place to go to back in the day. I got the chicken orzo soup and send it back because it was pure water for broth. Chicken pot pie was good. Probably still good for sandwiches.

Walked in after lunch hour. Sat at counter. No waitress for a minimum of 5mins. The owner brought me over cold coffee . Should have left then. Waitress was no where to be found. Had to finally get up after 10 mins of waiting. Another 10 minutes went by still no 2 eggs over easy with toast and home fries. Walked out. Won't be back. 20 plus minutes is a disgrace!!! The owner/Mgr. needs to see this as a problem.

Food's good. Diner food. Service is slow because owners/managers don't schedule enough wait staff. We had 1 waitress taking orders, serving food, and bussing her own tables (12 tables when we finished) while the managers stood in front talking to each other.

I got a club sandwich that was good, on a reference from a friend but the cannolis were the worst I've ever eaten. The shell was old and falling apart, the cream inside was sour and just disgusting. The cannolis were probably left out in a warm room and weeks old before I bought them, they were going to be dessert for dinner with family. I even asked if the desserts were fresh, they clearly lied to my face.

Holes in the ceiling and light fixtures hanging from ceiling but it's not why I'm giving it 2 stars. My wife was served a chicken salad wrap that I could only describe as musty and sour. we also received chicken noodle soup that taste like absolutely nothing and kind of gross. Don't know what's going on in the kitchen but if it's anything like the dining area I'd be worried getting sick. Plus one refill in a diner? Come on this is New Jersey!

Hostess is mean for no reason and rude. Assumed a tip ahead of time for getting cheesecake to walk out with. I always tip for pick ups but have never been bullied into one. If you google "how to not be an ahole" I'm sure the internet can help you out. Be better. Cheesecake was good though.

Lunch on Christmas Eve served with amazing service and extremely kind and friendly waitresses! Watching them give a meal to a veteran on the house! Highly recommend!!

We ordered the captains choice broiled seafood, calamari appetizer and the seafood salad (dinner size) all to go. No complaints! Order was packed up neatly and staff was on point. There were condiments as well as lemon butter and tartar sauce which accompanied our meals. Everything was superb!
New Jersey has a wonderful tradition of fine silver sided dinners. Peter's is an outstanding example of this tradition. There is abroad selection of antrays The food very good, and there are always specials that offer tremendous value. The service is always efficient. The whole venue is neat and clean. eNJoy

Went for Thanksgiving special and it was horrible. I went there about 5 years ago and was amazing. This year it the cream of chicken soup watered down, bread was stale, turkey was presliced the stuffing was plain and mashed potatoes tasted like instant box potatoes. Very horrible quality, very disappointed. They also weren't serving sweet potatoes on Thanksgiving. Come on guys step it up.

One of south jerseys chrome glass diners it's a place you walk into and because of the size of the servings they roll you out. Food is always good and plentiful. The only thing I don't like is the ketchup wish they had heinz

I ve been to Pete's a few times now for breakfast with the kids. It hasnt disappointed yet. Food comes out quick and is very hot, and is always exactly as ordered. waitresses are attentive but are a little over worked since they seem to be short staffed so they can't stop and check as often as normal. All in all it's a solid diner.
