I called in with an order and had to explain what I wanted which is on their menu. So I made this call at 144pm called then called back less than 2 minutes and they said my order was done so I explained again and then they somewhat understood. So I got there in 5 mins w the menu and arguing with me if you don’t understand know your menu and ask this or that so “I didn’t say hot Virginia ham with butter sauce so now they want to charge me more an the wife’s owner says you owe us a $1!!!!!!! Really you confused my order!!!!!! I can go on!!!!!! I’ve been going there for a couple of months never had a problem but the guy that owns the place was yelling at me saying he made 2 sandwiches it wasn’t my fault it was your staff and not that miscommunication which could have be settled easily until they say you owe a dollar more really?!?!?!?!? And the aggressive in the male owner was scary!!!!!!!! You don’t treat customers like that settle it it was a miscommunication no need to be hostile over a dollar. He was very unprofessional aggressive and seen hostile to women no need for that. It was a miscommunication.Kid-friendliness: Thank goodness I didn’t bring my niece nor nephew. The owner/male supervisor was not nice at all.

Lets keep it real here. You served me one chicken nugget on a 8 inch sub and called that a chicken cutlet Sandwich and charged me almost 10 bucks for an 8 inch roll. I was robbed. Keep the money and your sandwiches, I will be sure to advise people not to go here. YOU CAN NOT FRY A CHICKEN TENDER AND PUT IT IN A SANDWICH AND CALL IT A CHICKEN CUTLET SANDWICH. There was Air in my bites. Legit bites of just nothing but space. Lastly, even if I did want to sit down the ambiance, creates a get your stuff and get out vibe. They need to spend money to make money. Like changing the tables so people what to sit. Bread was decent so were the toppings cause thats all i tasted lol.

I arrived at 2:35 To place in order your website states that you are open until 3:00 p.m Your lights were on. However, your door was locked very bad business. I will never come there again you need to do what your website says

I've been hesitant to reveal our 'secret place' but Sandwich King deserves a great review. I live in NYC, the parents are in NJ. When I am nearing 8A each week I call in an order for p/u. The service is impeccable, food is excellent, over the years the staff which has not changed are very polite, punctual and efficient. At the counter you can see how fresh the food is. They keep the food prep area and the entire place super clean, spotless. They also have a nice seating area if you want a break from work or just to have a meal with a friend. I highly recommend, but let's keep it a secret. *We love the pork roll egg & cheese as well as the Italian hero*

Terrible $9.00 for a roast beef sandwich plain no extras. Maybe 2 oz of meat . Bread was stale this place use to be good years ago . I guess people in Monroe have no idea what a good sandwich is . Stay away not a good sandwich and expensive, might as well eat at Subway!!

Have been coming here 3 days in a row for breakfast. Breakfast platter and sandwiches are excellent. Really a nice way to start the day. Prices are very reasonable

Good portion and price but the bread was not fresh and thats a disappointment. I got a half italian. I haven't been here in about 10+ years and the original owners sold it. This place used to have a line out the door but obviously the quality went down a bit. There was only one other person inside. Nothing spectacular like it used to be. Picture shows a half of a half.
