I highly recommend checking this place out. If it wasn't so far from home, I'd go frequently. We had the jerk chicken dark meat meal with rice and peas and cabbage. Chicken was flavorful, not overly spicy, and very juicy. Rice and cabbage were very good as well.We then got oxtail to go, and that was amazing. Fall off the bone and full of flavor. Good prices for what you get!!Parking: Restaurant is in a small shopping center that shares parking with other stores.
This was my first visit recommended by a patient of mine. I had the jerk chicken dinner, and it was delicious. The staff were hospitable and appreciated my business. I will definitely be a return customer!

Was graving my Brooklyn Pattie's !! So we headed here with excitement! They opened at noon we arrived at 12:10. Guess what sold out of all parties except beef and spinach. Ok so we decided on beef patties with coco bread. Eeeeh coco bread was thick no taste and stiff. The patty lacked flavor which was disappointing. The search continues

This is a family owned business. When I say that the food is AMAZING, itttt issssss an understatement. Simply Jerk is Central Jersey's must go to. The curry dishes, Jerk Chicken meals, Jamaican patties, West Indian drinks, and their treats are out of this world. Just do me one favor and stay away from my Black Cake. This place used to be the SPOT, we used to get the jerk chicken sandwich with sauteed onions, fries, a drink and chicken patty. It was delicious! But the last two times we have order have been so disappointing. They missed orders, gave us expired drinks and added mustard(?) To our sandwiches; it used to be jerk sauce! And that was delicious! But mustard???? The beef patties were STALE!! Overall, we have become very displeased with this place an it's officially on our offices DNO (DO NOT ORDER) list. Hopefully someday we'll return and see how it's doing but not anytime soon.. until then, I best I can give is 2 stars and that's because the people who work there are great! Just the food quality is just... Not good.

Grade B+A hidden gem w breezy decor, ultra clean space and parking.Pro : Takeout had minimal plastic packaging, no leaks and secure. Truly authentic Jamaican food in Central NJ. Oxtail was soft juicy and extra spicy. Beef patties were nice as well.Con : Portion? That large oxtail was (( 3 pieces of oxtail )) on rice, veggies and a slice of plantain.Such good food, however a somewhat substantial price.

This will be my last time visiting this establishment. Not only did you downgrade on bowls for the food, you also downgraded on providing the food. What did I pay $19.00 dollars for, because there is no food in my bowl. Luckily I got a patty to add to my meal to get some type of fulfillment. You charge high prices for barely a scope of food in these small bowls. Then you flood my bowl with veggies, to mask not having any of my other items in my bowl. The worst..

Found this place just driving by and "site seeing." I'm glad the fam and I decided to give it a try. The restaurant is CLEAN and the staff was very welcoming. We ordered our food to go, but you have the option to dine in as they have seating. We decided to order the curry shrimp, dark meat jerk chicken, and oxtail. Each came with rice and peas, plantain and cabbage. Everything was so flavorful, the meat just fell off the bones. We also ordered some patties and festival "as car appetizers," lol. The patties had amble filling and the right amount of flakiness. The festival was so good, I've had my share of festival from various establishments, but these are the best thus far, a mouthful of happiness with a beautiful golden color. They also have fresh juices, so we grabbed a few....the tamarind, soursop and ginger drinks. EVERYTHING was delicious!!!! Over here, making myself hungry - will definitely return for more yummy delights. Enjoy!

Incredible Jamaican food. The food is fresh and the jerk chicken was absolutely delicious. I always passed this place and tried it and loved it. Beef Pattie's were spot on! Would recommend this place to anyone!

VERY VERY overpriced. You get 6 pieces of plantain for $4. A whole plantain does not even cost that much. They're often 2 for $1. In general, the food is ok but definetely not worth the price. They also don't have any associations with the major delivery services like DoorDash, Grubhub or UberEats. The store is on a major truck route so a bit out of the way and not convenient.
