Being a vegetarian, I haven’t found too many places who properly cater to my requirements. I tell them I am a vegetarian and they make sure they clean the counter and change the gloves and utensils prior to making my order. LOVE IT!

This is hands down my favorite local sushi spot. Whether you sit in or order take out, the food is always delicious. My favorite roll is definitely the yellowtail special. It has yellowtail, ikura and avocado. I havent see any other sushi place do this combo before but its def a must try. The ikura here is flavorful and the uni is also fresh! Service is great even when its a little busy. Definitely stop by if youre passing through the area and have a sushi craving.

Ordered several rolls and asked for each order to be packaged separately. We had also asked for additional wasabi for each order.However they didn’t listen to our request and put it all together with a very small amount of Wasabi for all the orders combined.I can’t recommend this place if they won’t honor requests

You can tell they're meant for locals and takeout orders as they aren't necessarily catered to diners, but the few seats they do have always get filled with local couples. While the ambience is nothing special, my wife and I love the food here as it has become our go-to sushi spot after we go shooting at Recoil.One of our favorites is the spicy kani salad. They include bits of fried noodles to give a crunchy texture that makes it so good!!! Another item we love to order is the pumpkin tempura roll. We love pumpkin tempura but there aren't many sushi restaurants that will make a roll out of it much less have it on their menu. Their other special rolls are good and they have great ikura too!!Would I recommend going out of your way to come here? Probably not but if you're a local or passing by Monroe, NJ, this is a great spot to try out!

Been several times now, and my wife and I love it! Very friendly, good service. The sashimi is always fresh, choice cuts, tasty. The Carnation roll is awesome! Not a standard roll, it's unique, one of their own that you don't find at other sushi restaurants.
