First time here. All I wanted was a tomato pie with no cheese. They charged me the same cost of their grandma pie ($18.95) even though it was without the pesto and the fresh mozzarella. With tax and credit card fee it was around $21 for bread and sauce. One would think they would lower the cost, or at the very least, give me extra sauce, after subtracting two costly ingredients. Nope. Complete rip-off. It just isn’t fair to a customer. Never again

The pizza, calamari and meatball sub were outstanding. The staff and management are great people. All around gear exoskeleton for a nice local Italian restaurant!

I haven't ordered from here for a few months and so sorry that I did tonight (used to order fairly often). The chili calamari had barely any chili sauce at all, no need to go further. I opened the rice balls and was puzzled by their size. I tasted just a quarter of it and was horrified- as a matter of fact, these rice balls themselves are humiliated. The cheese was so sour I almost %#~}, the outside wilted and mushy, just no. Nonna's around the world are turning over in their graves. And a frozen boxed low quality garbage cheeseburger with a slice of cheese unwrapped from cellophane- I feel so violated. This is absolutely NOT the food it was. I'm guessing new owners. My ruined night.

Always order the veggie lovers pizza. Just so delicious. Been ordering from them for years. Vegetables cooked as you want them. Never had a bad meal from them yet. I do think sometime they have an attitude if corrected should something go wrong with order which is rare. Their chicken Murphy is fabulous, have ordered to go when visiting friends and no complaints from anyone. Have tried other meals from them, no complaints here. The young ladies at the counter are always sweet and welcoming. Will continue to order from Tomato Pies in Monroe.

This place is an absolute joint. Many a memory have been shared here with my grandparents and the pizza, although staying very true to NY/NJ pizza, has its own indescribably unique flair and flavor to it and it is utterly refreshing. Also, I always feel so scholarly driving down to Research Way. It inspires me to one day pursue a PhD. Pizza and Professional Doctorate Degrees. What a combination. Maybe my thesis will be centered around why Tomato Pies is a crust above the rest.

Prices are reasonable, my coworker's recommend this place. The Eggplant Parm is ok but could be better it's like a typical Pizza Joint but doesn't have a speciality food that stands out from the others. I'm disappointed because my coworkers said they were great.

I live in Millstone and work in Princeton. I order from Tomato Pies occasionally when I come home from work. Tonight I ordered pizza, picked it up, came home, and saw I got a wrong pie. It was no problem getting another one. My issue is that my family ate dinner without me, I had to spend time and gas to correct the problem, I wasn’t given anything the get me “whole”, and my husband was a j*** to me in the process. I didn’t get to eat dinner tonight… thanks Tomato Pies!

The most amazing food and customer service!!Two weeks ago I ordered Tomato Pies Italian Kitchen for an event today at Thompson Park. The customer service was beyond amazing. They called to check to make sure that I still needed the food for today midweek and asked if I wanted to add anything. They were happy to deliver for me. Our delivery guy was SO sweet and kind and made sure we had everything to kick off our party.Everyone at the party LOVED the food. The pizza was awesome (not greasy and oily- just solid pizza!) the fried ravioli was the true MVP. And the subs were absolutely perfect! A huge hit! Thank you, thank you, thank you for making today and true success for our party!!

Pretty good, I had the eggplant parm with linguine. Entree portion size was good n it tasted yummm. We also had the chicken parm sandwiches n there was nothing left of those by the end so safe to say they were good ?. Will definitely eat from there again. The restaurant is also cute n quaint if you want to eat in. Service was good n pleasant.

My parents live in Monroe Township in the Greenbriar Whittingham development in New Jersey and my siblings and I all live on Long Island. Due to health reasons, we cannot be with our mom for Mothers Day and we were having such guilt about it. My mom loves "Tomato Pies" and has always told us they have the best pizza and food in New Jersey. I knew it was her favorite and called "Tomato Pies" and explained our situation to Jeff about our situation of not being able to see our mom for Mothers Day. Jeff had a great idea and suggested we can deliver the certificate to my mom personally. This was so thoughtful of him, and we knew she would love their pizza, and would now have a gift certificate to have her favorite pizza whenever she wanted to and especially in time for Mothers Day. Jeff informed me that "Tomato Pies" is a family owned business and that he understood and would help us surprise our mom. Jeff went above and beyond to make sure my mom got her mothers day present on time and delivered it to her personally, with of course her favorite hot pizza. I still can not believe Jeff did this for us. It was so kind and thoughtful and really helped us make our mom's day special. Not only does "Tomato Pies" have great food but they are a very kind and caring business as well. The type of business you don't come across often. Thank you again Jeff and everyone at "Tomato Pie".
