Great fried chicken. Not greasy, with a nice crunchy batter that was not too thick. Oil used was fresh and chicken seemed also fresh and was good quality. I didn’t give 5 stars only because I would have liked more seasonings but this restaurant will still be my go to when I’m looking for fried chicken. Service was also fast.

If you’re looking for good quality fried shrimp this IS THE SPOT!! If you’re like me, and are tired of wimpy shrimp that claim to be large, look no further. The breading is so crispy (think KFC or Popeyes) great dipping sauces too. Go for the buffalo style and the regular. Outstanding delivery in Montclair NJ!

The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed and there is a homey, steady, traditional vibe about the place. The food is delicious the only reason why I gave a 4/5 on the food section is because they do not remove the tail shell on the shrimp before frying which I see as a definite choking hazard. Service is friendly and it is cool watching your food being prepared in front of you!

The chicken isn’t that bad the Mac and cheese horrible it had so much grease the cheese was running away from the macaroni and it had a metal taste no flavor at all. The mashed potatoes were honestly not good at all it felt like I was eating mashed farina with no flavor. The only reason I’m giving it a two stars is because the chicken was decent but def over priced. And honestly their their vibe wasn’t good also it’s like they hate on the younger folks
