This place is unbelievable!!! My husband and i went for a quick lunch date and man, our only regret is that we hadn't tried it sooner. We got a salad, broccoli rabe, and the classic pizza to share. Everything was amazing. The pizza was like being back in Italy. We also got the nutella desert which should be illegal. Cannot wait to try our way through the menus. So happy to have this wonderful spot in the neighborhood.

The food overall was really delicious. My favorite was the pasta. I really recommend the amatriciana if you love pasta and don't mind a little heat. I'll definitely be back with some wine.

During the ordering process the owner was very inpatient and not ready to explain about different dishes. The food was ok (the portions were small) but the worst part was that we were waiting OVER 40 minutes for one of the dishes. We asked about it a few times, it looked like they forgot about our order, until we just decided to leave. They didn't really care. That is not how a highly rated restaurant should treat their customers.

Where can I begin, the son is very nice, and the owner works very hard. The food and especially the bread was absolutely amazing. And splendid. Some of the best bread ever had I told him. I’ll come back a few more times and bring people because I definitely think..The food was like so good! Decor was very elegant and comfortable

New Italian restaurant in Montclair! They've only been open for 6 months so everything looks pretty new. It's a more casual place because they take your order and you pay ahead in the front before seating yourself in the back. The noodle dishes were really good and well seasoned! Tasted very authentic and fresh. I hadn't tasted pasta like that in a very long time. We were told that the pasta noodles were imported from Italy! They are located next to an Italian market so that makes them even more legit! Would come back to try other dishes.

Very nice atmosphere and nice staff. The food is great. I picked up several pizza for a party and they were a big hit. Everyone kept asking where I got them. Gourmet pizza which is way better than regular pizza.

Stopped by in the late afternoon and had a great experience. Parking was easy as there is a few spaces in the strip mall. The rest has a nice bright atmosphere with good seating. You have to place your order at the counter though which makes it feel less upscale. For the prices they charge, it would feel a better experiment to have waiters take the orders at our table. Anyway we had the pulpo octopus which was cooked perfectly and the accompaniments were perfectly suited with the octopus. The pasta pesto was excellent , very minimal just pasta, pesto and pine nuts which was well balanced. $31 for the pesto with no proteins is a bit much. I had the ciopinno risotto,m which had 3 shrimps, 3 mussels and 3 clams. Excellent flavors but again a bit overpriced for the portion. We also had their pizza which was good but not great. Maybe Montclair has high rents that command higher prices but I'm on the fence about returning. The food was very good and unique which was what we were hoping for. Not like your typical Italian restaurants that serve the same flavors.

I would have left a picture but I ate it all. Honestly I never leave reviews, but this is some of the best food I've ever had! I can't wait to go back. Bravo!

Food just ok overall, but pizza is pretty good! Prefer Brick and Dough, Bivio, Little Pizza Heaven, Occasionally Ah Pizz, and Blue Steel in Bloomfield for deep dish, Star Tavern in Orange, Arturo’s in Maplewood….Lots of other places have lots of options…they have only four or five. AND if you order takeout they leave it on the counter to get cold….But it will do in a pinch when the others are closed early in the week or you don’t want to driveThe polpette and the fried dough with prosciutto are full on miss!

The food was delicious. There are multiple chefs in the back working very hard, as are the front of house staff. Would come back anytime!
