This place is fantastic!!! The pasta was to die for! The lamb pizza I’ve been thinking about since I’ve eaten it! The only hiccup was that they were short staffed in the kitchen so we were there for a very long time AND my husbands steak was over cooked. They did more than enough to make it right and were very apologetic. The place is very cute and homey inside. PLUS BYOB! We will be back again that’s for sure !

Walking in you are immediately brought to Italy. Decorated with lemon and orange trees, walls lined with old photos, and bright terracotta colors you feel like you’re right in Italy. We were offered a wine menu but you had to order through a delivery service. This was super easy, you call yourself and order your white and a guy rides a bike down to the restaurant within 10-20 min super fast and you can pay cash or card and tip on card.Luigino’s did a great job with pace. They didn’t give us bread until we poured our wine. When we finished the bread they took our order. The timing of everything was perfect. It was clear the servers were paying attention. We ordered the Fritto Misto to start. The two sauces were delicious and in recommend mixing the two for ultimate flavor. The fried calamari and shrimp didn’t have flavor within itself, but the sauces gave it much flavor. We ordered the Stuffed Gnocchi which came in a mushroom sauce and stuffed with ricotta. It was absolutely delicious and rich. Definitely heavy but expected. We also ordered the Fazzoletti on the specials menu. Even though the menu stated the sauce had a Smokey flavor, which is something I don’t like, my partner agreed it was a bit too much smoke. Otherwise delicious and pasta cooked well. They shaved fresh Parmesan over our dishes. When the waiter cleared our dishes, we told him in passing it was my partner’s birthday not expecting anything from it.We ordered espresso for dessert (delicious) and then came a few waiters and a candle lit scoop of Stracciatella (chocolate chip) gelato and Sambuca for our espresso as a gift. The Italian hospitality here is amazing and you truly feel welcomed here. Our bill came and they removed the espresso entirely from it which was a kind gesture, despite the other two free additions we received.Great service, great atmosphere. I’d recommend this restaurant for dinner.

Went for the first time last night. Food was good but we had to keep asking for food that they forgot to bring. We ordered the smoked cheese but they didn’t bring the crositini with it. By the time we got someone to bring the crostini (had to ask 2 diff people), the cheese was getting cold. Then our mains arrived and no one had cleared our empty dishes from the appetizers. Ten minutes into us getting our entrees the waitress finally asks if we need anything (cheese etc) by this point we were already eating for quite some time and the roasted carrots we ordered never came out. She apologized and said she would have them come out. Waited another 5 min and then we asked to cancel the carrots as we are finished eating and ready for boxes. The correct thing to do would have been to have the carrots come anyway and take it off the bill, especially after the crostini incident. The table next to us got 2 of the same appetizer when they only ordered 1. Seemed messy all around. I’m absolutely fine to wait especially when it’s byo and I have my wine, but bring the food out correctly when it does come out. The food is good, but the prices aren’t low enough to excuse repeated bad service. Granted this could have just been with our waitress but I’m not sure I’d go back to try another one

This Italian restaurant is truly amazing with a lively atmosphere. You should reserve a table in advance because it's always packed. You must try the pinsa!!! The fried artichoke was a bit salty, but the salad was delightful. The scallops and branzino were super fresh and juicy, making them a must-try. The cacio e pepe were good, but not the best. I would definitely recommend this place 100%, but don't forget that it's BYOB!

Nice cozy restaurant that’s BYOB. Good service and food. I got the chicken parm and one of the best chicken parm I’ve ever had! Not salty and over breaded and super thin with a lot of good flavors. Huge portion but I finished it. We also got tiramisu and tartufo and both good! ?

As a former Montclair resident, Luigino’s is my favorite restaurant and one that I travel back to downtown Montclair for. The food is outstanding, generously portioned, and pasta is always al dente! The interior seamlessly balances old school/rustic charm with modern sensibility. On your first visit, you must try one of the bone in parm entrees! Bring your [adult] beverage of choice ?

Came here with a party of 9 for dinner on a Saturday night and had a great time. The staff was super friendly and knowledge about the menu and was very accommodating for allergies within the group. The price point are pretty good as the portions are quite big! Every dish we order was a hit. The lamb and bolognese were probably our faves. Also I highly recommend the chocolate panna cotta! It's also byob with no corking fee. The restaurant itself is also very nicely decorate and provides a cozy feel. Will definitely be going back!

The food was amazing honestly Josue saved the day. He suggested that the chicken breast le parmigiana on vodka sauce. OMG, this tasted so good and we even had another table next to us ask us how we were able to get vodka sauce on the chicken parmigiana. My daughter loves the meatballs and spaghetti. The dessert was really good which was bombolini and we had tiramisu to go. This restaurant's service is great we will come back.

This restaurant is so amazing; food, ambiance and Luigi!! Not nessarily in that order. Only disappointment was hostess. Her job was over after she seated us. Friendly, but everyone else including Luigi, running around like crazy. She never looked up from laptop. Not part of team. Food was awesome as usual. My friend and I shared the beet and fennel salad. HUGE! I had the roasted lamb pinsa and she had the rigatoni. We both loved our entrees. This was our second visit since new ownership. Just keeps getting better!!!
