We went on a Tuesday for dinner and the place was dead so it wasn’t a great atmosphere. The food was fine, portions were definitely big enough for 2 to share, wish I knew that beforehand. The grilled octopus came out within 5 mins making me believe it was microwaved, plus it did not have much of a “grill” taste to it. The rack of lamb was fine but I asked for medium rare and it was more medium, the herbs were a bit too salty. The white sangria was mainly ice and I could not taste much alcohol so won’t be ordering this again.Overall if you come on a weekend (haven’t been) I guess it would be more lively, but I wouldn’t waste money on the white sangria. The waitress was smiling and nice, which I appreciated.

As a patron of the Tenafly location, I wanted to try the Montclair locale. Parking isn't great around there but we managed. The cocktails were good. There was a grilled octopus plate served with a salad as an appetizer and it was delicious! Most of the entrees were seasoned okay but nothing stood out. One of our 5 dishes came out wrong but corrected within 5 minutes. The original dish was meant for another table and we got the correct plate quickly. Noise level was normal for a Friday night. Very nice ambiance - decor wise. Would return.

My BF took me here on Valentine’s Day but he accidentally chose the wrong location. Sandra was so nice and she really tried her best to accommodate us. With some patience and her efforts we were able to get a table. The server Kai was our server and he was really quick with getting back to us and making sure everything was okay. It’s a beautiful place with really great food. The sea bass was delicious. I’ve had their steak before too, perfect medium rare. They have live music too, so classy. well be back ❤️

We had an excellent experience. The place has beautiful decor, everything looks neat, the service was attentive , food and drinks were wonderful. We went to see the flamenco show the day Hernán Romero and his group performed. Very professional, the show was spectacular. We will be back, highly recommended!

Come to Sayola for my birthday celebration. The food is fantastic, and the ambiance is incredible. The standout items are the tapas—they're generously portioned and of excellent quality. They offer a variety of delicious cocktails. Our favorites were the octopus tapas and the chorizo. Additionally, they have excellent gluten-free options available. The highlight of the evening was definitely the tiramisu cake—it was simply delightful. I'm excited to return for live music in the future.

Absolutely a fantastic dinner. What a great experience. We will definitely back. Appetizers and cheese were great. Main courses were wonderful. Best sangria I have had in many years. A classy great place.

I'm so glad Sayola finally re-opened! First of all, the staff is outstanding . So very nice and the timing was perfect. We shared the artichoke salad with jamon and manchego to start. It's a generous starter for two, and so delicious. Just the right amount of vinaigrette as well. The bread comes out nice and warm and is served with not only butter, but also a scrumptious olive/garlic tapenade. The best I've had anywhere. In between courses, homemade potato chips are sent out! What a delicious surprise!! For entrees, I preferred the red snapper vizcaina with clams and mussels in a light tomato sauce with garlic. The mariscada in green sauce was a very generous portion of lobster, clams, calamari, scallops and mussels. Everything was very fresh but the sauce lacked garlic and possibly needed a kick of chilies as well. The accompanying roasted veggies and yellow rice were both excellent. We're very much looking forward to going back soon .

I had an amazing night celebrating my 3 year anniversary, the staff was SO attentive and quick, my glass was NEVER empty. The staff were friendly and gladly welcomed us. The food was fantastic and came way faster than I anticipated. The atmosphere was perfect, the music wasn't too loud, the lights were just dim enough and the presentation was wonderful. Also to be honest, I have paid more for less than stellar food and service at other restaurants, and Sayloa blew all the other establishments I have been to out of the water.
