I don’t typically leave reviews, but I loved this place! I stumbled in and the interior was so inviting and calm, exactly what I needed the day I found Thought in Motion. I got a golden milk latte and an infused water (recommended by the staff). Both were DELICIOUS. I was having a rough day and Sandy came out and just gave me beautiful pep talk. She had no idea that I needed that. Beautiful shop, beautiful staff. Thank you! I’ll be back❤️

Small quaint coffee shop and water bar. They make their own milk here. I had a matcha latte with cashew milk. It's a small coffee shop with about five tables. They have a lot of different crystals and rocks for sale. New age spiritual coffee shop

My wife and I really like this spot to enjoy a great cup of coffee or refreshing thirst quenching drink. The staff is very welcoming and its a soothing, comfortable place for taking a few minuets to recharge.
Apart from being an absolutely wonderful atmosphere, food, and service, the filtered/purified water program has been a cost-saving game changer. I highly recommend this service!

I just found T.I.M. Waterbar only a few months ago. It may be tempting to write this off as new age hooey - but I fill up once a week because the water slides down like silk. No joke. Their coffee selection is A+, and every time I visit I wish I could stay all day. I'm a fan.

Stopped in for a drink and a light bite. Extremely welcoming establishment, with obvious care taken to provide a comfortable environment for guests. Everyone who works there is attentive. There are places to sit and read, do work, or have a chat. I would absolutely return again to try more items.Dietary restrictions: The menu is varied enough that anyone would be able to choose something to eat or drink, even with a dietary restriction.Parking: Found parking on the street easily enough. It's a populated road without being overly busy. It's likely to find parking relatively close.

Next level space for intentional people to come and be present. Such an amazing atmosphere with pleasant and relaxed energy. We got the chakra elixir flight and loved the diversity of flavors. Very grounding and lovely!
Really nice atmosphere, everyone is so attentive and caring. Great service and food/drinks. The coffee was amazing as well. Will be back more??

I absolutely love this place. The vibe is absolutely incredible and the employees and customers match that. The coffee is incredible, especially the cappuccinos. Also highly recommend trying the water, Its incredible and has made me much more aware of what I’m putting in my body. The employees are always willing to allow you to sample or try almost anything on the menu and the in-house made milk. When you order, they make you feel like you aren’t just one customer but your experience actually matters. I love how focused they are on growing as a business and helping their customers. Highly recommend to anyone in (or out) of the area.

I moved to Montclair a year ago and stumbled into Thought in Motion the day I signed my lease and had the pleasure of speaking with Sandy and trying their water. Since then, I have subscribed to the water program and stop in multiple times a week. I never noticed how different tap and filtered water tasted but now I can, because their water is that good. The program is worth joining 100%! The staff there is so warm and friendly, it really feels like you are part of a community. Highly recommend.

Since my first visit to Thought in Motion I’ve stopped for coffee and/or water almost every day (for almost a year)! I love everything about this special place. The people who work at the water bar are beautiful, warm, and helpful. The food and drinks are delicious and nourishing (no chemicals, seed oils, refined sugar etc), and the atmosphere is comfortable yet energizing. I am so grateful to have stumbled upon Thought in Motion. It’s not just a coffee shop, it’s a community. I highly recommend the waterbar to all of my friends and family, and those who have stopped in felt the same as I do :)Dietary restrictions: The food is super nutritious with no seed oils, chemicals or refined sugar. Lots of organic options and vegan and gluten free options.

The only good part about this place is the atmosphere. The coffee and service are lacking. They don’t have oat milk instead it’s some awful mix of oat,cashew and coconut that tastes like dirt. Instead of vanilla syrup they do vanilla extract which was gross. Took forever to make 2 iced lattes even though there was no line. Ordered iced, got hot lattes because they just don’t listen. Employees seemed pretentious. We ended up throwing our lattes out and going to paper plane coffee which was so much better.
Service was exceptional, enjoyed my visit.
