I have developed a very nice rapport with mangers, wait staff and bar tenders. They always make a point to see me and say hello. I typically sit at the bar and order dinner there. Wonderful conversation with other patrons, and with bar tender/server, Joe, and manager Krista. I have known them for a few years. They are constantly busy, but always make me feel comfortable whenever I come to this restaurant. Although some staff have moved on for various career choices, I am kept abreast of how they are doing. Such a wonderful connection!The food and beverages are quite good, and they never disappoint. “Best Italian restaurant I’ve ever had and immaculate service! I called ahead as they were getting close to closing time and they said come on in with no hesitation. They were beyond accommodating and the service was insanely fast. The bread and homemade tomato sauce that’s brought out is delicious and set the tone. I ordered the pasta alla vodka and my son ordered the gnocchi with Alfredo. Both came with a choice of soup or salad and the soup of the day was potato and bacon… to die for! The puffy garlic bread was also great! Both main dishes were fantastic and massive portion sizes. For dessert, the tiramisu and the lava cake were (again) amazing. “I'm from Buffalo. Nowhere else to go for solid wings around here. Good prices, great burgers and other fattening foods like Mac and Cheese bites as well. Tasty hole in the wall. De'Angelos across the street is also excellent and classier fare.Please, for the love of God, don’t go to Buffalo Wild Wings. Wings must be bone-in, skin-on, not breaded, deep fried to a crisp, and slathered with Frank’s with maybe some butter, salt, and pepper. Or a dry rub.“

We were treated like kings, with the owner chatting us up when he learned we came from all over and that it was my birthday. There was no live music when we visited and we'll have to come back to check that out. The dining area atmosphere does feel a bit old, not really trendy, especially given the "older patronage" that seemed to be prevalent. But don't let that stop you from enjoying rare Spanish cuisine.“
