Stopped in at Howard's the other day on my way to work (not my normal spot, but I had an early appointment up the road). Despite a couple of older poor reviews, I found the place totally acceptable. When I got there there were a few people waiting for their orders, but I was greeted and the young lady took my order quickly. Good sandwich. Really nothing special. Coffee is actually pretty good because most places serve that really mild type of coffee. They have a wide variety of food to choose from. Your average bagel place

cream cheese and lox on an everything bagelstaff are very nice, i find the fireworks that intermittently appear on the menu a fantastic touch. chicken salad is great, bagels are great, nova is the best in the area, we have friends from chicago that come every year and love this place.
