Great place. Haven't been in decades and it's still great I had cavatelli with sausage and broccoli. It was delicious and enough for a second meal for me. Plenty to take home Their bread is to die for. Arrives at the table piping hot and crispy. Problem is you want to eat 3 baskets of bread!! I tried one of their mocktails and loved it. Peach with ginger beer. Really enjoyed it. Very refreshing Will be coming back with friends !

Bazzarelli's has been long on my must-visit restaurant list for sentimental reasons. It was the restaurant that my partner's grandparents frequented and is around the corner from the home where their grandfather also grew up. I'm honestly not sure why it took so long for me to get there, but I'm so glad that I finally did. Bazzarelli is tucked over in Moonachie in an unassuming spot, but it has off-street parking (bingo!). We had made a reservation for 5:00 PM (yup, always have been and always will be an early bird diner). I had no issues grabbing a parking spot and was sat immediately and able to pick my table. They had two expansive menus, one was their usual offerings and the second was loaded with their specials given that Valentine's Day is around the corner. I ordered off the main menu, starting with clams casino, their house salad with their house Italian dressing (amazing flavour, I wish I could have bottled it up and taken it home), and then had the lasagna and the spaghettini with carbonara for the entrees and polished off the tiramisu for dessert. The vibes here are chic with a cozy homey atmosphere. There were tables filled with families, children, old friends and couples. It was so lively yet not loud. The service here is fantastic, super friendly servers who are always happy to chat and provide recommendations and never make you feel rushed. The food here is spot on with generous portions, great quality of ingredients that don't feel heavy (even with ordering heavy entrees), and the pricing is solid. They have a credit card service charge so bring cash if you can, but it's not a deal breaker. They also have a full bar here so you can make a full event out of it or not, but it's guaranteed that you'll be able to find something for everyone at this location. A lovely spot that I'm glad has withstood the test of time and will continue to come back in the future.
