We went here a few weeks back as a family of 10. Luckily they were able to squeeze us in at the last minute and I’m so glad they did! This place is a hidden gem in moorestown. Staff is super friendly and welcoming and the hibachi was great! We also tried some sushi which was equally delicious. We have been to Akira frequently over the years and it is consistently good! I love the koi pond they have in the restaurant! The employees are so friendly and efficient! We went in today for lunch and both got the lunch special of 2 rolls for $13. I had the shrimp avocado roll and Philadelphia roll. Both of them had extremely fresh ingredients and tasted great! Incredible experience at Akira for the second time. The service was absolutely excellent. Our waiter literally hustled and was on point with every single thing we needed and he brought out the cutest kids chopsticks for my friend’s son. The food was perfect and delicious and came out quickly. The staff were all personable and friendly. Love this place.Btw try the tempura ice cream. It was unique and SO good!
