Decent breakfast spot. Coffee is sour at times. Tea selection is lacking, used to be better. Gets packed at times. Food and service is just ok.Vegetarian options: You can make it work but not much here

Anastasia the General Manager was kind and courteous provided excellent service. Along with the food and the best coffee around I will definitely be returning.

I was in the area with a few friends and decided to go here for brunch. We were pleased at first because the atmosphere here is very warm and comforting. It's a rustic design with a slight modern touch. Our server, Nidia, was very nice and helped us with all of our questions. The coffee was really good, and the food didn't take long to come out either. I had french toast, and it was probably the best french toast I've ever had (brioche bread with cinnamon and sugar butter, and a berry compote on the side). If I'm ever backing the area I'm definitely going to come back here.

Food was definitely solid, juice was good. I know it was busy, but, our server was in such a rush to get us in and out she hardly gave us time to look over the menu. And then when I ordered a side biscuit and gravy, I got it minus the biscuit because she was in a hurry to just get our order in that she either didnt hesr me or put it in wrong. Didn't have time to correct it because she was gone till she noticed she could drop the check and get us out. All else was solid

Service was mediocre my waitress never came and checked on the table. She left the check right after bringing the food. She never even asked if I wanted a refill

I enjoy going to First Watch due to their Gluten Free options as I have a gluten allergy. The food, service, and atmosphere are always great! During my last visit, I was given toast that was not gluten free in error. I was very lucky my AMAZING waitress Valeria noticed this before I ate the bread and replaced it with gluten free toast. I want the manager to know how much this means to me what she did. I would have gotten very sick had I eaten the bread! So kudos to your waitress and establishment for great customer service!! Thank you! I would highly recommend this restaurant and waitress!!

Not impressed, the food took forever to come out and it was cold and was so over salted I couldn't eat it. I wanted to like this place but sorry I didn't

UPDATED REVIEW AFTER 2ND VISIT: Note to all: This is NOT a small, mom & pop company/business, and bigger is NOT always better. There doesn't seem to be very much attention to detail (as there should be). Even simple things, like drink refills, or lack of. Earlier today, my wife's "specialty" pancakes and my breakfast tacos & grits, were lukewarm at best, and the waitress didn't even come around to see how everything was, or to offer us refills on our blackberry iced teas, until it was time for her to present us with our check. It gets very busy here, especially on weekends, and clearly, they are short-staffed. They need to hire more servers, and pay a lot more attention to detail. While ordering, I specifically requested that our breakfasts come out "extra hot," and they didn't even come out hot at all! We won't be returning. Essentially, this is glorified, make-believe-ballroom fast food. Not the least bit recommended. Go to ANY diner in NJ, and you'll get better quality food and service...

GREAT MENU OF ALL THINGS BRUNCH. I recommend the standard no frills iced coffee (delicious) and the BLT eggs Benedict.

I know it's a chain but for suburbs it's a lot better than the diner.

My wife and I found ourselves in the Morris Plains area recently and having heard of First Watch we decided to try it for breakfast. All things considered the food was excellent, the service excellent as well, as we were greeted and approached within minutes of being seated. We both had the French Toast which is pictured here. I might have given 5 stars to this establishment but I thought it could have used more traditional items on the menu. If you enjoy an eclectic variety of foods, you will love this menu. The dining area is nicely decorated but does have high ceilings which I personally feel takes away from the ambiance. Overall though a very good experience. If in the area, I would go back.
