Trendy, busy, fun, loud, expensive with good food. If that's what you're looking for, this is the place. If you're looking for an excellent culinary experience, they deliver on presentation, but the taste could be better.The taste does not live up to the cost and atmosphere.Table of 6 with apps and drinks (nothingcrazy), just shy of $1,000. We had to shout to hear across the table, but it was a nice experience. I'll probably be back in a year or so, as we have a limited number of nice restaurants in Morristown.

Food is just ok, it is mainly seafood place. Not much for vegetarians or even chicken optionsService was so bad, had to wait almost 2 hrs.They don't even serve some bread until you ask and that too comes late. They take your appetizers and main course order together, and then you just sit waiting hungry.Place is loud and busy.Vegetarian options: Not much for vegetarian, mostly a seafood place. We asked for cheese pizza, it was awful, pizza came without cheese. Pasta was also mid.

We love the whole bar staff at 1776. Bartenders on wagyu Wednesday are outstanding. We love peter, Nick, Mike,Ryan they did an amazing job. Peter especially because even as he is covering the whole bar, he always gives me personal attention. It’s like family here.

Guys I don’t even know how to act after this place. So insanely good. Everything from start to finish was superb. The bacon is insane. The burrata crustini was one of my favorites. The brussel sprouts were perfect. Then the onion soup mashed potatoes were absolutely next level. Steak was perfection. I don’t write a lot of reviews just go. You’re welcome.

Over rated! Pulled up and valet is $15 cash up front with an attitude. Bar and restaurant very loud and overpriced. Bacon app definately the best thing we had. Waiter spilled a good share of my martini and wine on serving platter and then red wine on our table and we had to clean it up. ordered the Gen Tso broccoli and cauliflower and they brought us plain broccolina. The waiter didnt offer to take off our check but we insisted; he clearly didnt care that it was his mistake. I heard so much about this place but not impressed and was so overpriced. Been there, done it and wont repeat that mistake again!
