Worst food in Morristown

Disappointed-confirmed our reservation, but then showed up and the restaurant wasn't open. We waited 15 minutes past our reservation time, tried calling the restaurant a few times but nothing. The door was locked. Very disappointed we didn't get to try the them and won't go back

Food came out very late. Actually all the surrounding tables that came after us were served way before us. The portion was ridiculously small. The food tasted good, but nothing special. I could count the vegetables my fish was served with. There were 6 Juliane carrots and 5 very small pieces of broccoli. I took a picture to send my kids. They thought it was a child's portion. Same with my husbands meal. You are the real sore from Boca. So he said it was good, they gave him two tiny thin little pieces on his plate. All we saw was plate. He finished it in like six parts. Absolutely not worth the price. Our meal was $100, no dessert, no liquor, for two meals. The fried calamari appetizer, enough for one person. Definitely not for two people or more than two people. It is if they counted each person would get 4 to 5 bites of it and that was it.

Excellent quality & tasty food. Veal Parmesan is very delicious, as is the salmon Dijon. Antipasta was very good and the eggplant rollatini appetizer was great. Attentive server and fast service.

Delicious Italian American comfort food. We were looking for somewhere to sit outside with our dog, and had an early Saturday dinner at Luna. We had calamari (perfectly cooked and generous portion), lamb shank (huge, super tender, and flavorful), chicken parmesan, linguini with clams, and black squid ink pasta with shrimp. The pasta wasn't overcooked (overcooked pasta bothers me in Italian restaurants), the sauces were flavorful and nothing was greasy. The squid ink pasta had a nice kick, and they didn't skimp on the seafood in either dish. To top it off, the service was excellent. Everyone was friendly and we were never ignored. We will definitely be back.Kid-friendliness: They have a pretty extensive kid's menu, but our kids ordered from the regular menu and loved their meals.

There are so many better restaurants for Italian food in Morristown than this place. Go to them instead of wasting your money here. The owner is rude. He immediately made me want to leave. Asked him to close the kitchen door and he blatantly said no. We had to listen to the clanging of pots, watching the cooks and the obnoxious light. We had already settled at our table so we did not want to change tables at this point. If it was just me and my husband I would have left at this point. Food is inconsistent. My shrimp in squid ink linguini had 4 pieces of cut shrimp, NOT EVEN WHOLE SHRIMP, and 2 small peppers, It was just linguini with not so great sauce. What a waste of $27.00. The veal francese and lobster ravioli got better marks, but the osso bucco was saturated in tomato sauce. The service is not professional, the atmosphere is so weird. There is a huge screen flashing strange scenes of Italy. Decorations look like they came from someone's living room. Does not belong in downtown Morristown. No wonder the restaurant was empty except for us and one other table. Morristown pancake was so much better in this spot.

There is a reason this place is always empty. The food is terrible and the service is even worse. They act as though they’re doing you a favour by serving you bad food with a side of attitude. No, thanks.

If I could give this place a zero, I would. The service tonight was absolutely miserable and I will never return. The waitress messed up our food and the other server had no clue what he was doing. We had to keep asking other waiters to bring our main one to us, which took upwards of 20 minutes and the restaurant was not even that busy at 6pm. We were given dessert menus and asked about coffee, etc. to end our meal, and that was before we received our main dinner. I would definitely not recommend this horrendous place and they added gratuity for a party of 5. The employees there never apologized for anything and had looks on their faces where they preferred to not work tonight. They should have received zero gratuity in my opinion. There are much better places around the corner with higher quality services for customers for the prices they are charging.I hope the restaurant closes down with this kind of awful service and I will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau.

I highly recommend this establishment to plan your next big event. We had my husbands birthday party here with a large group. We had a private section of the restaurant just for us. We were still able to see the rest of the resultant which didn’t make you feel closed in. John was very accommodating during the planning process, and our waitress Tracy was on target as well. We can’t wait to plan our next big event at Luna Cafe!

Service was excellent, met all our needs. Food was amazing, especially the Gnocchi. Tiramisu was wonderful as well. Portions for the price were amazing. Highly recommend this place.

Five stars for a great staff. They accommodated my large party and were patient with me when I had changes to my reservation. The servers were great and didn’t give us a hard time even though almost everyone in my party was late. They let us have a good time and weren’t rushing us out to leave. Very friendly. The food was just ok for me but the place was so cool to us that I’d definitely go back.

First time here. I read some mixed reviews but I have to say we had a very good experience. Service was excellent. Food was delicious, they accommodated my picky daughter by changing the sauce for her gnocchi to Alfredo from Pomodoro. My chicken Milanese was very very good. My daughters friends both had penne vodka which they both loved. Portion sizes were generous. We had no complaints and will go back again. I also thought it was a really cute place inside and it wasn't noisy at all.

Super nice place, good find. Staff amazingly attentive but not too attentive. Food was very good, big portions. Open floor plan so a bit loud but not obnoxious. BYOB is a nice feature to save a bit of cash!
