Raul’s is such a staple in Morristown, my husband and I haven’t been here since before the pandemic, but I remember looking forward to Raul’s after a night out on the town and we used to order delivery to the hospital when I used to work there. We heard either management or cooking style has changed since then and we had been skeptic to go back, but we ordered some to take home tonight when we were back in town meeting up with friends. I’m so glad we did! The empanadas smelled so good and the scent of the fried dough was so tempting I had to eat one in the car! It was so fresh and warm and crispy, and the chipotle sauce went so well with it. I must not remember what it used to be like, but I must say this was pretty good! We will definitely be back to order empanadas to go when we are back in town!!!

Was on line waiting to order. Owner told an Uber driver that he would have to wait until entire line was taken care of because Uber doesn’t pay until next week. Blew my mind. Now I know why my orders come so late when I order delivery. Customers should be treated equally and so should these delivery drivers. They are getting paid $2 per order. This driver had to wait 30 minutes before his order was even started. This was a huge insight into what these drivers have to deal with. I won’t be back and neither will any of my friends and coworkers

This was my second time ordering from them through door dash. First time food was hot and fresh. Idk what happened the second time around my food was spilled out into the bag the salsa that came with it was spoiled it was milky looking and very sour. Probably not gonna order from them again just surprised by the way I got the food.

Today is the second time I order food for delivery. They forgot to add the drinks that I’ve paid for. Intentional? Also, bought 9 empanadas (and other things), they included 3 mini sauces only - I specifically asked for sauce…Pretty poor service. Unlikely I’ll try again. Food is ok though.

This was a running-to-the-train snack rather than an actual meal, but the beef inferno empanada was a knockout. It needed no assistance but the two accompanying sauces were great also - one was the chipotle, I can't recall the other one as I was more focusing on catching the 8:23. Friendly and helpful service.

Little disappointed. We’re very dry and some barely had any filling in them.

Used to be one of my favorite spots for a special snack. Went there yesterday and was totally disappointed. Both the chicken and chicken curry empanadas were dry and flavorless -- the filling had the consistency and texture of sawdust. I also got an apple pie empanada. The filing was dried out, and the pastry was pasty- like it had been sitting around for way too long

This place made my day. Just, such weird decor and the empanadas are great. I know everyone's complaining about the lack of corn dough? But I haven't been here before so I don't care. They're good. Just come here and sit on the hot dog bench and live your best life

RAUL'S IS THE BEST!!!!!!!I had not been here for a hot minute because a.) the pandemic and b). I don't live near here. But I stopped in here and got my GLUTEN FREE Colombian empanadas, the "rock" (beef and cheese, old favorite) and shrimp (new favorite) and everything was *chef's kiss!* Also, yuca frita was amazing :-).Best place ever.Vegetarian options: They have some.Parking: Behind the location.Dietary restrictions: All of the savory empanadas are 100% gluten-free.

Ordered a bunch of chicken & beef empanadas. Chicken ones were ehhh, alright cooked outside with different flavoring than what I previously remembered but the chicken was very dry making even finishing even 1 hard to justify. The beef was better.

Ordered online for a late night pick up 10/10. Empanada were made fresh, large size, packed with goodness. Raul’s had vegetarian options that were delicious - beans and rice/ mix veggies/ cheese and broccoli.Second heaven (chicken and shrimp) is named for a reason. It’s Devine twist on a crab Rangoon - carrots, onions, sourcream. Also beef, rice, beans (Jornalero).Sweet plantains were not sweet like candy but rather a great side.10/10 recommended! Affordable for the size given, have left overs for the next day.Vegetarian options: Rice and beansBroccoli and cheddar cheeseMixed veggiesSpinach and cheese

Ordered online:- shrimp and chocolate empanadas 10/10, so good, def delish (very high on cheese and sugar which is very awesome for a cheat day)- veggie empanadas and bean and rice empanadas- not fun, felt like boiled but almost raw veggies inside an empanadas, no flavor, no fun. Vegan options were not good. At least for the items I ordered.
