Love the ice cream!! Many unique flavors are offered, not just the usual contenders! Soft serve, hard ice creams, plus coffee and lunch options! Such a fun little cafe tucked into historic Morristown! Very friendly service as well

First visit, with friends after we visited the Morris Museum. Tons of enticing flavors; 2 of us chose the Kailua madness, coffee ice cream with espresso beans, definitely kept me awake on an unnaturally long train ride home! I ordered the smallest cup, and it was quite enough, and under $5.00! That's rare these days and so so good! Our other friend had, if I recall correctly, coffe ice cream with peanut butter, or maybe with chocolate chips, I'm not sure but she loved it.We felt sorry for the lone young woman working there! It was a rather warm day, mid-May, around the end of the school day, and not packed but definitely busy. She was patient and so was everyone on the line, so that was good too.Definitely try it if you like ice cream!

I'm not usually a big ice cream person, but this place has such great flavor combos that I'm stoked to go back. I loved that they have a wheelchair accessible entrance and spacious layout to make it easy for all wheelchair users. I'll have to go back for their pastries, they looked beautiful behind the counter. I tried the Oreo coffee ice cream and it was perfect!

My only favorite ice cream in Morristown. Always come back for it every time I am in town

This place always hits the spot. They have a variety of soft serve and hard ice cream in literally every combination imaginable. Don't miss out on this classic creamery experience!

Solid ice cream. Pretty good soft serve. Overall solid definitely a 4 star, nothing more, and nothing less. Solid.

3 years later this place still slaps. Their soft serve is to die for and with the beautiful days ahead it's a must see stop in morristown!

I was thourougly unimpressed. Place was almost empty when we arrived for lunch at 11:45 am on a weekday, yet no one was there to seat us. When we finally sat down, no one took our order. It took us a long while to figure out that we had to order at the register. My roast beef sandwich was ok but served in a plastic carton not on a plate. Is this due to Covid? Maybe, but was not what I expected. Lentil soup was hot, which is important to me. But it was orange, not wrong but not what I expected and totally puréed which is also not wrong but not what I expected. (Brown with lentils still evident) More important, the chicken salad which was advertised on the menu to contain bacon did not have any bacon at all. Computer generated bill said chicken salad with bacon. I might go back for ice cream. That all seemed good. But I would not go back for lunch.

South Street Creamery Cafe is a great little place for a lite bite. Customer service is very friendly and down to earth! The café has a lot of indoor seating. Inside, the stained glass adds a lot of old fashion charm. Please see my photo. So far, I've had the Raspberry Lemonade, Chicken Salad Wrap, Chicken Chipotle Crepe and Pumpkin Bread. Everything has been delicious. Prices won't break the bank here. Of course, if you love ice cream this is the place to go. Many varieties of ice cream are here. In addition, I saw containers of homemade creamy soup that can be purchased (Well maybe next time :) Parking is available on the street and in municipal lots. 4 STARS!

Very lacking on the ice cream. Wife's comment was that it was grocery store ice cream, she said it perfectly. I wish this place was good but it just misses the mark. The ice cream is a little creamer than grocery store but it has that frozen crystal taste to the ice cream. Needs more love in the product.

The pros are it has a good location and fair prices. Used to go here alot over 10 years ago and it was amazing. Have tried it twice now with my young kids and each time not only was I disappointed...so were they. They asked what kind of ice cream is it? Can we go to our usual ace? Why does it taste weird? Very good questions. I hate to write a negative review but somewhere along the line they went south and I hope they can come back. Their chocolate raspberry truffle is still as good as years ago. But their cookie dough is awful...the cookie dough has a sandy texture...which is probably just excess sugar because it is disgustingly sweet. The inconsistency of their mix ins in their flavors and just general marginal base of the ice creams is just lacking. Once again it makes me sad to post this but I hope they return to their glory days.

Would be more stars if they ever had their soft serve machine working. Literally have been here 5 times in the last two months specifically for soft serve vanilla ice cream and every single time the soft serve machine "just stopped working"

Milkshakes are terrible. Mostly milk. Ice cream has been good in past visits. Was very disappointed with the shake.

Delicious ice cream that instantly took me back to the beach with the fun flavors! At $4 for a (very large) small you really can't beat it
