The food and service is the best. Great hidden gem. I had these dessert squares two different flavors which was great. I love this place.

The cutest local spot coffee shop. It's a hidden gem located on a small street of the Shops at Mill Race. In an old historic building with a front porch and multiple cozy rooms for seating. The coffee options are top notch and Mitch the owner is so great answering questions, giving suggestions, and customizing. Food options include bites and pastries. There's books and games so it's a wonderful hangout spot as well.

Uhg, I took my husband for hand surgery at Virtue. Luckly for me, I found this comfy place away from the hospital. I sat listening to some Jack Johnson and like music while watching the snowy ❄️ weather outside. My bagel was great and so was my latte ☕️. So awesome, it really helped this miserable day feel more pleasant. Not gonna lie though, still can't wait for spring. ?

My wife and I were walking around the town and stumbled upon this cool little coffeehouse . There’s two little rooms to sit inside, as well as what looked like outdoor space on the back lawn. My wife and I enjoyed playing mancala while drinking some delicious coffee in the room with the games.

Strange place to say the least. The inconsistency in ownership and product tells you everything you need to know in the last couple years. They switched almost a year ago to this Philly brand that is just brutal and tough to swallow (Passeros) Asked the cashier (new owner assuming.) for a mug and was told no even though the mugs from the previous regime were right in my face. They also don't do breakfast sandwiches anymore which was what a majority of their base asked for. Wouldn't recommend unless they make some actual changes.

Place was great until the new owner took it over. The service is so slow. The coffee is not as good. Our drinks consistently have coffee grounds in them. The prices are a little high for the size and quality of drink and service.

I have never written a review for anything before...but this place needs one. I ordered 4 hot chocolates and there were lukewarm and tasteless. It's disrespectful to call this stuff hot chocolate because it tasted and looked like MILK. it was like they showed the chocolate to the milk and called it a day. On top of that, I got charged $1 for whipped cream without being told that whipped cream cost extra. Who charges for whipped cream on hot chocolate?

The new owners are doing a great job and always friendly, the place is looking great and they had beautiful tables and umbrellas outside that many of us loved during the summer and with the beautiful flowers that the previous owner planted i always refer to it as the courtyard . Really it is beautiful and relaxing and they plan on adding additional special seating next spring .Can't mt holly have anything nice ? Why try and drive them out with negative reviews,no idea why there would be anything but nice things to say.People walking to Robins Nest now get to see the love and care these guys put into it . It fits in nicely with Mill Race . I love how they are gradually doing away with the colonial theme and making it fun and cozier. I wish Mitch and Chris much success with their coffee shop. ....The world would be a better place if people chose kindness, your own life works better if you choose kindness ❤Support small businesses don't bash .

I feel very sad about this place. I also feel very sorry for the new owners. They probably saw a successful place and wanted to get in on the hype, but they didn't quite understand why this place was so successful.I kid you not, last year my family came for a visit from Syracuse, NY (5 hours away) and this was the only coffee shop I took them to besides Victoria's bagel bistro. They are big breakfast snobs. They loved this place, cause there were such unique coffee drinks here. Things you would never even find at Starbucks. It seemed like the previous employees had put the effort into trying very strange concoctions and putting the best ones on the menu! And then for us regulars, there were these sweet, energetic young people who played cool music, and would have conversations with everyone, and were quite pleasant. The guy from b-unos would be there a lot too.Now you go in there and it's just boring and empty.I hope that the current owners relax into this place and perhaps allow some of the previous employees their jobs back. And advertise for local events and care about what's going on around them. Are they from Mt Holly? Or do they live in the area?If they can't figure it out, may they give up eventually and let this coffee shop return to its original greatness. In historic Mt Holly. God bless them all and God bless America!!! ???
