I hate leaving reviews for places, but this is my expectation. We saw this place and were amazed by the great reviews in such high numbers, however I have a feeling why that is. It’s noted on the wall, if you leave a good review, you’ll get money of your order(or next order). That should have been our sign to leave but we aren’t the brightest in the bunch. I am one hell of a writer so, here I am.Atmosphere was fine, typical hole in the wall small business. Granted, bathrooms were a mess and toilet didn’t even work. If I was still bulimic(1 year purge free) this bathroom would have literally ended me. But beyond that, It was fine, nothing notable, nothing awful.Service was ehhh. Food was quick to come out, but I have a feeling why it was so quick to come out. Water wasn’t refilled or anything but whatever. Check didn’t even come out. We ended up just leaving 40 on the table(Food ended up being 35) and called our loses.Oh god, the food was something else. We got our food and it seemed fine to the eyes, but it was awful. It’s important to note here, me and my dad are push overs and suck ups and I would rather end my life then to send food back or complain. I got the chicken quesadillas, or I should say quesadilla since it was one giant quesadilla . It was pretty much just 95% chicken and 3% cheese, but whatever. The chicken however was just awful, it was rubbery and seemed undercooked. I won’t be surprised if I come down with E.coli, salmonella, food poisoning OR all of them after this meal. My dad hated his meal aswell, he got some kind of burrito and he ate it, but he ate in spite and because he just came from work and was hungry.Overall, if you’re desperate for Mexican food, just go to on the border because that’s somehow better.

Visited here for the first time last night with my family for my grandfather’s birthday, it’s his favorite Mexican restaurant. The food was incredible, portions are huge, which we all loved! I had the carne asada and it was great, it came with refried beans, rice, and salad that were all so good. The staff were attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back!

This place is awful I have never had such a bad experience I wanted to run out of there. My mom always taught me if you don’t want to say anything nice don’t say nothing at all but this place tried to give me spoiled Mexican rice it even smelled spoiled never again and when I went to pay the guy said the rice and beans came with the meal not my problem you didn’t want it. Charged me the full price $18 anyway it was disgusting

I am a sceptic of Mexican restaurants to start being that many places do not serve authentic tasting food. I decided to give this place a try being my husband had a decent experience a few years ago. But to no surprise I was very much disappointed and left hungry. Place was empty (first clue..lol). Place was freezing cold and heated with portable fireplace heaters (I can deal since I have been to many places as such that had banging foods). Initially served with chips and some watery salsa. I was hungry so i ate some but can’t really judge foods based on this. If you want extra chips there is a charge of $3. I am good and can do without. I like spicey foods. And asked my meal to be made spicey. The nameless guy looked at me like I was making a mistake and I simply said again to make it spicey. Meals came out. I had a combo meal. Relleno with one beef burrito, one chicken burrito served with yellow (Mexican?) rice and some very pale runny refried beans. Well if it wasn’t for the colors of my food I wouldn’t really know what started and ended on my plate. I joked with my husband and said I didn’t know I ordered soup! I sampled a little of everything on my plate. Not spicey to start. And if this was Mexican food then whomever is the chef obviously thinks they can serve garbage to anyone. I ate more to kill the hunger pain in my stomach and apologized to my body for shoveling this so called Mexican slop in my pot hole. People, I am not a connoisseur of Mexican foods but if I were the G Ramsey visiting this place I definitely would of thrown my plate and called this stuff slop!
