The food is good. I've also experienced good service. I ordered from Monsoon a few weeks shod and they informed me that they included a free dessert in my order. I'm d definitely a fan of free.

This was some of the worst Indian food I have ever had. Our one chicken dish was CURDLED. It was actually inedible. The naan was dry and flavorless. It was hands down the worst. I also got some deep fried chicken that wasn't advertised as fried, so I couldn't eat that either. It also tasted like Chinese food which is so confusing. I want my money back.

4.5 starsI've been a customer for many years. The food is consistently the very best Indian food I've had anywhere, including NYC, Chicago and overseas. Hard to believe in little ol' Mt. Laurel, but it's true. Out of town friends are astonished every time.My only gripe is the value. $19 for a pint of Saag Paneer? $19 for a pint of Chicken Tikka Masala? I have a longtime friend who ran an Indian restaurant for 25 years and I know how much goes into the food (it's not cheap), but 1.5x portions seem more reasonable for the prices. That said, I'll continue to be a customer and will certainly do my best to support them during these difficult Covid times, especially for the restaurant industry.

I was looking for an Indian restaurant and discovered Monsoon. I was starving when I arrived. Sad to say they were open only for take out (but I sat at an outside table). The food was fresh and delicious. The condiments tasted very fresh (very, as if they made it, not out of a jar). The gentleman who helped me was friendly, well spoken and helpful.Would recommend to anyone who enjoys (northern) Indian food!

The food was delicious and plentiful. Even though they are only doing take out right now the staff were very nice. I highly recommend if you have a taste for Indian.

highly recommend this restaurant for Indian food in the city. I tried their chicken biryani and lamb korma, were so good.

They mixed two orders together. The Vegetable Korma had cheese in it. Muttar Paneer had no tomato sauce (Vegetable Korma sauce). There were the same cheese cubes in both containers. The food tasted good. I'm just surprised that they did that for the money they charge for each order (nineteen dollars).

Bad food, chewy chicken as well too expensive for simple dish is $19 done for us no more

The food is good. However, every time I order the Kadai Chicken (and explicitly state ‘the chicken with the onions and peppers), I receive Chicken Curry. Each time, I have to wait for them to correct my order. And each time, the staff is telling me how to order it “correctly” the next time. Today, I placed an order exactly the way I was told and it was still wrong.

I agree that dishes were more on the sweet side. can't really taste the spices. may have been too much honey or other type of sweetener. the biggest disappointment is the portion. $19 per dish in a 16oz container! i ordered so much food to feed, what i thought would be for 7ppl, actually was only enough for 4. spent over $200, traveled 20mns, and was annoyed even before we started eating. the dish of kabobs sampler was so small that you only get 2 small pieces of each kind (3 diff variety). the bread sample variety was a good choice. this was the only one that was made in big sizes. their basmati rice was unusually dry than how basmati rice should be cooked. the raita was more sweet than sour, liquidy than creamy, but worst of all had a funky sulfur smell. my group made the most of dinner the best we can. but as the host, I'm not happy about serving them this food. my first and last.

Didn't enjoy the food at all. It was not spicy ... more sweet and the price you pay you definetly aren't getting the quantity. I wouldn't order from here again.

Nowhere does it say take out only. Even the Google listing says Dine in. Turned way, take out only they claim. Changed my long standing review from 5 stars to 1. Not the way to run a business.
