Unexpected gem at a gas station. Food was delicious, fresh, and a huge portion. Highly recommend!

Soooo I was on my way to Reading Terminal Market to grab dinner but came across a post by J.L. Jupiter and changed directions. I've driven past this gas station at least 100+ times and had no idea what was beyond the front doors. My stewed beef platter over rice was amazingly delicious!! It came with a side salad and had plenty of options for toppings too. The food prep/ serving area is very clean and service was prompt and courteous. There are two small round high top tables indoors and two picnic tables outside for seating. All of the meat they use is Halal (Kosher). You will not be disappointed!!

Why NJ? Why is this place hidden at a gas station? Wow was it good. The freshest, most delicious lamb I've had in a long time. I'm so mad at you New Jersey. Give this man a full restaurant!

Wow! So fresh! So delicious! Such big portions! Friendliest service. Very reasonably priced. And yup, it's in the gas station. Just go, Just wow! Samples the homemade chicken orzo soup, Yumba! Settled on baba ganoush- best I've had in a long time. A little chunkier that I make it, I like theirs better We ordered a lamb shawarma pita & a platter, too. Didn't even touch the pita b/c the platter was enough to share for lunch. Delicious, fresh, with all the toppings. Our new go to spot when we are on the Jersey Turnpike.
