Our experience was mixed for a Monday evening. Service was slow and drawn out. Entries were good for three of four in our party, my scallops and shrimp dish were overcooked. But still with good flavor.

We found this gem when I was looking for someplace different to go. After our first time, we always go here for a special day. This time our anniversary. Food is excellent, always plenty of outstanding servers. The price is a little high, but well worth it.

Always a great lunch. I usually get their Caesar salad with blackened chicken which is always good and my friend got the halibut sandwich and she said it was outstanding. I always look forward to returning.

I had a wonderful birthday lunch with my brother today. As it was a perfect spring day, we sat out on the patio. Allen, our server, was attentive and informative. We shared the arugula and hearts of palm salad; he had the Sunday gravy, and I had the stuffed beggars purses (all specials of the day). Everything is homemade, and was absolutely delicious. He brought out a slice of chocolate cake to celebrate, which was excellent (and I'm not a fan of chocolate, and rarely eat dessert). Definitely a place I'll return to. Thank you for a special celebration! LGL

We met our cousins there and we had the recommendation from a co-worker. She said the place was amazing, and I have to agree the food was fabulous, the atmosphere is really nice and our waiter was wonderful. Everyone there was really nice. I can't say enough good.

We were from out of town on business. Charming little stone inn-looking spot sits in the middle of a charming neighborhood. We even saw a momma black bear and 3 cubs who were later digging through the restaurant's dumpster! For a Monday night, there were lots of large groups of families/friends. We tried stuffed salmon, seafood salad, their famous chowder, & chicken Toscana. Entrees arrived piping hot and delicious. Efficient professional waiter whose probably worked there a long time. Felt like a warm cozy mountain lodge with familiar faces to many--in the middle of New Jersey!

We arrived right in time, and were seated right away. We were greeted by every member of the staff and given menus to review. I had the stuffed pork loin, which after having one bite I realized it was the best decision. My hubby had seafood Fra Diablo and he needed more bread to soak up the delicious sauce. Definitely going back again. More to food to try.

Upon arrival, Hostess greeted us immediately & was very pleasant. Took awhile for service, but as we were expecting another guest, I assume they were giving us time to talk. Server was efficient but not very friendly. Not much on personality. Food arrived in a timely manner and was excellent. Noise level allowed for easy conversation. All considered, I would highly recommend this restaurant.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary Saturday night. The food was amazing. I had rigatoni bolognese and my wife had stuffed pork tenderloin. We also had a salad with cranberries and walnuts. Fresh bread was brought to the table immediately, and our drink order was taken very soon after. The meal, the service, and the ambience were exceptional. We also received a complementary piece of rich, chocolate cake, which was amazing. The noise level was low.

Open on Monday’s, so great! Such a beautiful building with small rooms, high ceilings and stone walls throughout that were original to the building. Truly wonderful!

I’ve been a huge fan of the Station restaurant for years, but hadn’t been in for a while until last night. I went for dinner with my wife and had an absolutely outstanding meal. Alan is a top notch waiter and German is a first class bartender/front of the house who does an excellent job of interacting with the patrons. We were sorry to miss Carlos, one of the best in the business. Our meal was a 10/10, don’t miss the firecracker calamari. My wife had the filet and loved every bite. The grilled marinated hanger steak was cooked to perfection and their scalloped potatoes are the standard by which all others should be measured. Truly superior restaurant, highly recommend.
Great service with great food. Serving staff was young, but don't let that fool you. They knew everything on the menu, provided recommendations and understood and took orders well without writing anything down. I had the filet with gorgonzola cheese and my colleague had a fish dish. The staff knew everything about the dishes and answered every question with ease and confidence. A little loud and dark but a gem.
