If anyone is looking for a job, I do not suggest Bovella's. Management does not care about their employees at all. They don't have the schedule ready before the previous has ended. They have no concern for their employees' availability and will schedule them when they've made it clear they are unavailable. They are forced to work 8+ hrs with no breaks, and therefore are not allowed to sit during their whole shift even if there are no customers. They are forced to eat between taking care of customers instead of getting an unpaid lunch break. As per a recent conversation with management, I was told, "I'm sorry it didn't work out for you, we pay people to work, not to sit and eat lol. But wishing you luck finding that ?". Bovella's should learn a few things about how to treat people with some decency before they have a turnover issue, if they don't already.
Mediocre pastry and food. Westfield location is far better. There are rules here. If you call in an order, you MUST wait in line behind all the people thinking about what pastries they want. I was told I can’t just pick up my order that I called in 30 minutes prior, and it’s their policy to wait in the line regardless if you placed an order over the phone. I’m so disappointed in Bovella’s. We’re in NJ - there are thousands of better bakeries that don’t have dumb policies in place.

All it took was one recommendation and I’ve been coming here ever since 2017. Staff has great customer service skills, everyone’s patient and the pricing isn’t bad. Parking varies however, on a busy weekend, you’ll be lucky to find parking outside Bovellas. They do have two locations! & the cakes here are wonderful. Strawberry shortcake has became one of my favorites, but they’re all just as great as well as their pastries.

No matter how you treat their staff, you will always get attitude and rolling eyes. Just be patient and don't engage in that dynamic.
Delicious! They gave my daughter a free scone, and it was her first time having one, and now she's hooked on going here. The scones and cookies are delicious!!! Also, bought a birthday cake here a while ago and everyone raved about the cake and how delicious it was. The cake was delicious!!!

I’ve only had select pastries that I picked up on my way home from work and a few times I got milkshakes (chocolate and vanilla) both shakes and pastries were delicious and one day I plan to stop in for an actual sit down lunch. The atmosphere is nice and it smells delicious so I’m sure it’ll be great. Once I get the chance, I’ll update this review but for now I can say, their bakery and milkshakes are great.
