The staff working are very friendly but the food is disgusting. No flavor, overcooked meat, and ridiculously overpriced. Order something delivered if you are stuck at the hospital, don't waste your money on this

The Atrium Cafe is a good place to grab food to eat on the go, or buy and eat at one of the many cafe tables in the atrium. They have a large variety of fresh fruit, yogurts, baked goods for breakfast. A bunch of different hot/cold sandwich options. Being the only option for hot food inside the JSUMC, I was hoping that they'd have more a lá carte hot food selections. The service is good, but their coffee and espresso is pretty weak tasting. If I could, I'd venture out for my daily coffee instead. Overall, a solid place to grab a sandwich, breakfast, or snack if you're short on time. Skip the coffee.

It doesn’t matter if this place is good or not, it’s on the other side of the check point.

Overpriced. Not many options. I was in today and the 2 girls were rude too. Said thank you and the girl pretty much rolled her eyes and other one blank stare back. So polite.

Fir a hospital food place, was very good. Nice and hot clam chowder. Paninis made fresh and tasty. Large and fresh salad. Very good selection of drinks. Nice staff.

I was admitted to JSUMC in June and spent all of June as a patient.. and although as patients we make get 3 square meals and or the ever popular clear or liquid diet.. the need for family that is visiting you the many long hours, leaving to get food can be expensive and parking.... forget it. The Atrium is a great cafe that serves a wide variety of breakfast meal choices any where from 4.00 and up. Lunch has sandwiches, fries, soups, melts, wraps and pretty nice salads. Yogurt varieties, granola bars, fresh fruit, in fact I had quite a few of the chicken Cesar salads while there, I wasn't really hungry but the salad for some reason was perfect when I wanted something crunchy. According to my husband and Mini-Me the staff was very nice and accommodating to special requests on the wraps and such, I mean don't go over board or anything, but reasonable requests are met with a smile. I really can't give it less than 5 -Stars since I have eaten here on previous occasions and the food and service has always been consistent.

The 'corner food store' of the hospital atrium, serving breakfast (egg and sandwiches), lunch (deli sandwiches), soda, and most importantly coffee. Food is decent and the coffee is pretty good, but it's the price that knocks this down a star.

A beautifully designed hospital café with good coffee & healthy snacks but average at best food choices. When I first saw this very attractive cafe located in the center of the new northwest wing of Jersey shore medical Center, I was really hoping to give it 4 or 5 stars. What a broad selection of snacks including healthy granola bars, fresh parfaits, protein snacks, even fresh hard boiled eggs at the register. Quite impressive. Also I will admit the coffee here is great and fresh! Which is a very important part of life. The problem here lies in the food options. Very sadly they are average at best, many of them below average. It's really just a shame. Especially since this is the best meal option for many of the hospital workers on a daily basis. To me it's hard to mess up a hot turkey sandwich. But they managed to unfortunately find a way. So much potential for this café to be such a gem. My chipotle chicken sandwich was as dry as a bone. How can that even happen when you're supposed to put chipotle sauce on it? My pot roast soup was meh. Most people have lower expectations for hospital food. But the appearance of this café raises your expectations to think that this could be above average or even, perhaps great... Nope, typical hospital food. If you need a snack or hot coffee, I recommend this place. If you are visiting someone at the hospital and you have the option of eating before or after you leave, do that! 3 stars for appearance, selection, coffee and snacks only.

For a café in the hospital setting this place is above average. Good salads and a variety of coffee selections. Warm and helpful staff ... Try their pinini breads!!!!
