Boyfriend and I absolutely loved the food, but one of the people behind the counter was not wearing a mask. He handled our food and put it into containers without gloves or a mask. That makes me extremely nervous and uncomfortable. I would assume he knows he is not sick when doing this, but now is not the time to risk contaminating others.

This location has always housed a great little sandwich shop.Bay Leaf is great! The two Louis's do a great job.Sandwichs are tasty and favorful.Clean.Great food selections.Great price and portions.My girlfriend got the Pork,rice,and plantains, Out of this world.Definately a great little sandwich shop!

I asked for an Italian sub. The kid at the counter told me "oh thats the Jersey", its from the menu ...says specialty sandwiches. Has everything on a sub. Salami. Ham, prov.cheese.Lettuce tom, onion, oil,vinegar etc. $8.25 standard italian subNext I ask for roast beef sandwich on a roll with lettuce and tomato $8.99 . So I questioned the price of the sandwich versus the sub. There was a roast beef with cheese in the same menu section as "the Jersey" for $8.25. So why would I pay more for a sandwich than a sub?Mgr? Owner? Comes over. We are not Jersey Mikes we are a "deli.". so when I asked for a sub why wasnt I told there are no subs? But then there are subs... SOME of the specialty sandwiches are subs..just small ones..But they sell 4-6 foot party subs according to the sign on the front window.....The roast beef we ordered was supposed to be a basic sandwich. There is no menu for basic sandwiches. No prices posted.. so the kid rang it up wrong. Where did 8.99 come from.? She gave us back $2 calling the kid a JackAss I'm assuming it must be her son or relative. I'd be all over the internet if I called a kid a Jackass in front of other people.Yes the bread was delicious but not good enough for $8- $9. Sandwiches was not huge. Nothing special. This is jersey. If you are only a deli ,put deli sandwiches on the menu, wheres the corn beef, pastrami, rye bread, good mustard?? . Now just because you say you are a deli doesn't mean you cant sell a sub. I can order subs at no less than 5 local "deli"s. Or better yet, when someone asks for a sub TELL THEM UPFRONT THAT YOU DONT HAVE ANY AND RETRAIN THE KID. Menu confusion-- customer confusion.. Pick a lane. Or advertise the bread and become a bakery. I'd only come back to buy bread. And they need better advertising/branding... noone knows the name it is the smallest thing on the sign. When you drive by you would never call to order catering from a no name place.I wish all small businesses to succeed. This will be an uphill battle.

My husband and I got breakfast sandwiches here on the way to the beach. They were awesome! Taylor ham, egg and cheese on a fresh roll, yum! There were 4 thick slices of ham on each. We loved them! The deli is very clean and the staff couldn't be nicer. The lunch sandwich menu looks delicious as well. I'll be back soon to give it a try. This place is a great addition to the neighborhood!

Nice people & Clean place! (A big change from the old one!) The sandwiches are fresh & delicious. I love the turkey sloppy and the cheesesteaks. The fresh, soft, unseeded rye bread is worth the trip by itself!

Excellent pork roll egg and cheese. Must have had 5 or 6 slices of pork roll, it was pretty hefty!
