Absolutely amazing experience at this Jamaican eatery! The homemade juice and food were both outstanding. The authenticity of the flavors really shines through. Plus, the owner’s warm hospitality made the visit even more memorable. Highly recommend!

Fantastic, authentic Jamaican food experience in a welcoming, homey environment. James the owner really seems to put his heart and soul into everything he makes, and is a pleasure to talk to. We had the conch chowder and Jamaican national dish. Do not pass up an opportunity to go to Eagle Mini Diner! Will definitely be coming back.

James is an amazing chef and human! His food is made with heart and soul. He would kill it in any city yet he is here bringing authentic Jamaican food and personality to our area! He treated us as family in his home. We had a double of the J*** Pit Sampler, Jamaican Brown Stew Chicken, and the Curry Chicken. His homemade hot sauce is ridiculously good. James, thanks for a fantastic dinner. We'll see you soon!

Our friend suggested getting together for lunch here, she's an Island girl herself from Grenada and orders take out from this establishment quite often. It has been a while since I last had Caribbean food especially Jamaican. What a delightful surprise this place is, especially its owner James who literally is a one man show or band as he referred himself as. He is the Host, waiter, bus boy and chef all in one. With Bob Marley playing on the overhead speakers James instructed us to take any table we wished. We settled down and began to run through the menu. So many good looking dishes, we all agreed to try the Conch Chowder. No joke, the Conch soup was delicious and I would recommend it as a starter for anyone dining here. For the main I ordered the slow cooked Jamaican Brown Stew Chicken and my wife had the Jamaican Style Oxtail Stew. Our friends ordered the BBQ Pork Ribs and the Jamaican National Dish. The portions were very generous and we had leftovers except for me, I managed to devour it all. The spices used gave the food a unique and delicious flavor without overpowering anything with too much heat. I definitely recommend the place to anyone looking for a taste from the Caribbean Islands. Some of these dishes have a mixture of different flavors from different Islands. You will not be disappointed.

Best Jamaican food in the area. The oxtail, curry goat and j*** chicken are some of my favorites here. Definitely a must if you live in Netcong or just visiting the area and the owner is very friendly.

Today @BigDudesBigFoods went to the Eagle Mini Diner in #NetcongNJ for an early dinner. This is the only Jamaican food in our area and it's unbelievably delicious. Jamaican James is a great chef and an even better human being. He is a one man show. Waiter, Chef, Busboy, Entertainer, Owner and Cashier. We loved the food and talking to James for our entire visit. We would definitely recommend you stopping in for the experience. #EagleMiniDiner #JamaicanJames #BigDudesBigFoods #CelebrateEveryDay #globaleats #shenanigans #BDBFCertified #ThePhoneEatsFirst #WOYP #Forkyeahfoodies #BDBF @forkyeahfoodies #YouDontKnowJersey#BeLocalish #ClearEyesFullBelliesCantLose #ABigDudesGottaDoWhatABigDudesGottaDo

Maybe it was an off day but I placed my order and paid online. When I arrived he was upset that I was late picking it up. I ordered at 4p order was due to be ready by 4:40p. I arrived at 5p due to the rain and after work traffic. I ordered the conch soup which was primarily broth, carrots and potatoes with 1 piece of conch. The curry chicken was okay but I have had better. I don't think I will be returning, I will just take a longer drive to Essex County.

The owner and chef James was the kindest person I've ever met. Not only was his food, for a lack of better word, INCREDIBLE, but he was super kind and gave us a great experience! This was our first time ever trying Jamaican food but after this it won't be our last. Sadly we live about 8hours away and we're here for a trip but as I told James, we will be back for him and his food. Thank you for being you James and keep doing what you're doing it's perfect!

Great food and welcoming service from the owner James. My son was blown away by the ribs and the ghost pepper hot sauce is a beautiful homemade treat. Well worth the stop.

Delicious in Netcong, NJ. Yummy Caribbean food- we found ourselves in the area on a Sunday, looked in and were pleased to find this cozy unusual diner with great food. The owner so warm and accommodating. Take his advice on what to order! We will return to enjoy a J*** Chicken or J*** Pork dinner!

Great egg, biscuit and swordfish suggestion from the owner/chef. If you consider yourself a Jamaican food treasure hunter, you'll love this place.
