This is the best Dominican Restaurant in New Brunswick! They have the best authentic Dominican food you can find. Try their homemade juices as well. Fresh food at an excellent price! Plenty of parking in the area.

No organization behind the counter which derails the experience. We order 2 meals for pick up, went to pick it up and waited 20 minutes to pay. Get home and we were missing food. They did deliver the missing food which was suppose to be a mondongo soup. It turns out that 90% of the soup was vegetables and 10% mondongo. Quality and customer experience has gone down hill at this restaurant.

I went back after ordering the smoked pork chops, which was good. This second time, we ordered the fried snapper with Yucca, and my son got the smoked chicken with yellow rice and beans. WOW, so tasty! I am a creature of habit. I find something good, and I stick with it.The food here is deeelicious. I can't wait to try another dish.I highly recommend Carmen's Restaurant. The yucca reminds me of my mother's cooking from Sierra Leone in West Africa.Great food. Thank you Carmen.

So today I ordered the typical Dominican plate rice , beans and chicken… but sadly that is the hardest rice I’ve ever tried in my life. I used to go to 3 Corners (?) but have decided to try this one since it’s at a walking distance from my house but let me tell you DO NOT ! Not only the rice was hard , but also the staff can improve in the customer service area, they didn’t greet me till I asked for help. TBH I’m surprised they have so many good reviews that was also one of the main reasons I decided to tried but disappointed ☹️ maybe I’ll give them another chance in the future.

The food is not good, especially the rice., hard all the time I’ve been there like 3 times and same thing happens! :( on the other hand the staff is super rude, you get there and they don’t even look up to greed you, you just gotta stand around til they decide to make eye contact smh ?‍♀️ there’s 0 customer service! Don’t recommend at all! Take your money somewhere else! (“3 corners” for example, totally recommend)Parking: Complicated parking!

Absolutely terrible. Chicken chunks apparently are burnt chicken bones, skin and scraps. Rice taste like it's been sitting around all day. Beans aint it either, little flavor too watery. Wow what a disappointment

EVERYTHING I ordered was authentic and just so delicious. Dining in is of course better only bc they make the food fresh. For walk in orders, they have ready made food on warmers and that sits out all day (I'm sure the flavor is still delicious) but I definitely recommend dining in. Nice, cozy seating. No private parking tho.
