Dont believe the rating. This place is phenomenal. Went here for years on an almost daily basis and the food was consistently good, the prices are great, and you don’t get dry mouth from eating from it like what happens at other overspiced/oversalted restaurants. Service is great!

Been going here for years, decades, really. It is a fixture on Easton Avenue and hasn't changed much. Has got some more variety lately, in the menu. And, always affordable. I practically lived off of their hummus sandwich, served on gyro bread (not pita bread, ha ha ha!), but everybody makes hummus slightly differently, and theirs being no exception, their hummus has always had a unique and slightly different taste, from everybody else's. Tried their affordable tuna salad platter recently, and it was good. Great place for college kids (of which I definitely am not!), and always crowded & available, late on weekend nights. And since other places are often closed after midnight, this is the place to go if you're hungry in New Brunswick at 2am (which I occasionally still am, despite being way, way past college kid age...ha ha ha!) Should give 'em 4 stars, but their offerings, though varied & affordable--just aren't that healthy. (Although what college kids' fast food place is, anyway? Certainly wasn't any better when I was in college, way back when...) So, 3 stars for the always available, affordable, good-but-not-great food, here at this endless establishment, Giovanelli's, on Easton Avenue, in the heart of the college district, here in New Brunswick.

I was assaulted at this pizza place and the staff didn’t call 911 or even so much as warn the perpetrators that they would call law enforcement unless they stopped beating the pulp out of me. NEVER EATING HERE AGAIN!!!

Menu is very average overall some good some bad depending what you order. Do not order their wings. I got mild sauce and they gave me some type of sweet sauce that was disgusting. They were also the most soggy wings I've ever seen, could only eat a few before I threw them out. Beware.

My mom called the place an order and they were very rude to her put her on with someone else asked her she was drunk or on drugs and then hung up on her. This is not how you treat customers this is not good customer service. If you'd like to be talked to like this order from there but I wouldn't recommend it. They hung up on her and made the order some of it she was going to order a lot more and spend a lot more but I guess they don't care about their customers.

This place has been such a staple my entire college career. Through countless lunch and late night takeouts over the years, Giovanelli's has been beyond consistent. The friendliest most helpful guys behind the counter, great food, and affordable prices!!
