Visited after a Rutgers BB game. Good pub food. Was told that the beers that were tried were good (I stuck to wine). We had 2 drinks comped due to a bartender error. Service was prompt and good. Would return.

Average food & drinks. Rude staff. Especially hostess and pre hostess (?) who we encountered before the actual hostess. Lots of open tables but they are "reserved" (but remained opened as we left).....Also the actual app, Open Table, may say they have availability but I wouldn't use it since "the app is wrong and doesn't update" - their words. Won't be going again.

Food was very good and the serving staff were courteous but service itself was slower than in the past. Value was pretty good but there were some price increases on the bill that were not reflected in the menu (add-ons). Make sure you give yourself time if going to a show!

We were seated upstairs right away which was good because we were going to a show at The State Theater. Our order was taken pretty promptly and food came out rather quickly. Calamari and fried pickles were very good. My drink did not taste like it had any alcohol in it. The taco's looked good, The Pad Thai was very good and the Chimichurri Steak was very good as well. Noise level was pretty high, which we didn't care either way, but my waiter bumped into my chair several times and never apologized. It was so annoying and extremely rude. I moved my chair in each time too, but it didn't matter. As he rushed by he didn't care who he banged into while they were trying to eat or drink

I hate doing this but I hate not being honest. The vibe was interesting, it was a very small place and they tried to squish people in. Its really cute inside and the decor is very quaint and pretty. As for the food and beer. The list of food was excellent however the taste wasn't as delectable as expected. The beer was flat. There was no head/foam to my draft beer and when I asked the waitress why. She really didn't have a good answer. I'd like to say it was just my beer, the honey blonde, but it was the same for the cider beer as well, which came in a can. That was also flat or "skunked".I wasn't impressed with the taste either. As for the food. We ordered the moon nachos and the adult cheese or courds. We laughed at how tiny they actually were and how little the amount of nachos we received. It definitely isn't enough for 4 people maybe still not enough for two.The soup and salad was a decent size portion but when I started sipping or shall I say, chewing on my tomato and basil soup, I realized it was more of a chicken w tomato paste. It was alright, I wasn't wowed and for an hour drive. I won't be returning.I'm sure there's better options.Again the atmosphere was cool. Had a good vibe ish, the wait staff was nice and kept asking if we needed anything. The prices were a bit high for small portions too.$144 for four people. Meh.

If you need to host an event, Harvest Moon is the place to do it! I hosted an alumni networking event here and Harvest Moon was nothing short of fabulous. We opted for the open wine + beer bar with assorted appetizers option, and the food was plentiful and delicious. Neil was super communicative in the planning process and ensured all our questions were answered. Throughout the night, the staff was very receptive, kind, and accommodating (we had a few older people in our party with sensitive ears, and they were so quick to turn the volume down). Overall, I highly recommend Harvest Moon for your next event or for a casual drink. Thank you to the staff for a great night!

Went for valentines dinner with some girlfriends a few years ago and had a great time! Pretty good food choices for vegetarians.

Undercooked veggies, spatzle too salty, sloppy dishes, do not recommend. Service was good.

i had the opportunity to visit harvest moon where i found the cocktails and d dinner to be superb. the waitress, julianna , was very efficient. i met the two managers steve and sam who were very efficient in running the bar/restaurant for the night. the establishment provided entertainment for the night. there was a distinguished man named bryan breathes who provided outstanding songs that he provided as well as, requests made by the audience. the audience enjoyed the medley of songs provided . if you have the opportunity to visit harvest moon, please do so. you will enjoy the cocktails , as well as , the food. the entertainment was a real plus for the evening. k. bowden, lavallette

Have been there a few times including twice recently and it was great. Last night was different. The server was indifferent and unfriendly and service was fair. When we mentioned we had a show to attend we just got a shrug. The food was barely warm and the fries were cold.

We came here after being gaslighted at Old Man Raffertys and never given a seat and man was it the right choice. Seated instantly and the nachos were spot on, the French Onion soup was one of the best I've ever had, and the Chicken Schnitzel with that lemon sauce was beyond excellent. I would come back here and order exactly the same meal and be extremely happy. It's rare for me not to change a single thing about our food experience. The only thing I would change is to sit downstairs where the live music is instead of upstairs where it's basically quiet, but we had our 3 year old with us this time so it worked out. They were also accommodating to get allergies. 5 stars!

Wandering around sketchy New Brunswick, NJ, and stumbled across this gem. The folks at Harvest Moon are awesome, their brews are great, and the food is well above bar standard. The copper bar is no joke...

I've been here a few times and in the past it was always a positive experience; this time however my guest and I were treated very poorly not by our server but rather by the shift manager As we had finished our dinner and had ordered our dessert he made us pack all our belongings and move No notice, no apology; it was very abrupt and unprofessional It went from a nice, quiet dining experience upstairs to a high top next to a noisy bar. I had specifically requested a quiet area for dinner. There was no need to move us as upstairs was empty. He could have easily allowed us to enjoy our desserts or comped our desserts or offered a complimentary drink for the inconvenience of being moved; nope, nothing...just a you need to go downstairs as this area is closed It was unprofessional, rude and just bizarre behavior on part of the shift manager. I truly hope the owner(s) of the restaurant read this This is not how you treat people

Great service, cool digs, decent food. 3.5 is about right. Nothing mind blowing on the culinary front. Big screens, relatively quiet evening. It's been decades since I've been and it's looking a bit long in the tooth. However it's more of a grown up spot than its yesteryears as a yuppie outpost differentiating itself from the Easton Ave outhouses.
