Sloppy place. I saw them throwing my food to each other instead of passing to each other. The put a half an avocado instead of slicing it through the sandwich. The avocado had this nasty bad circle and my meat had a giant piece of fatty

The owner Vince is a highly unlikable character. He'll put on an act and pretend to be nice if you're SPENDING $$$. Unfortunately I feel the prices for panera are too high therefore I never buy anything resorting to using sip club. He doesn't know how to respect people that aren't spending money. Yelled at me after asking me to pick up the wrong order. The names weren't even similar, just a random desi name and figured it was mine. His own worker had to correct him. Panera management please get this horrendous manager out of management, his behavior is just unacceptable. Being spoken to in a rude manner shouldn't be acceptable whether I'm spending money or not. Vince you're an idiot in the most disrespectful way possible! The store would be much better off without you, you ruin the atmosphere and people's day as well. Please retire!

Overall, I've had good experiences at this Panera. My feedback really is about one of the older men that works here. He has been awfully rude to myself and other folks I've talked to who have frequented here -- literally for no reason! If you've felt uncomfortable with this employee, you're not alone.

While Paneras is a soup and sandwich mainstay, I must complain about this one. Located in the center of Rutgers University, this Paneras has a built in clientele. The decor is old and beat up. The tables are sticky from glue and other stuff, as student work as they eat - this is understandable. But I just felt dirty sitting there. The food was a problem. When ordering, they were out of most of the salads. No onion or basil either. And as I'm told by my son, this is the norm. @MANAGEMENT - How can you not know supply and demand after having been here for years?? Order better. Clean up and have food in stock.

This Panera Bread location is like no other because the staff are all Rutgers University students. They are friendly, helpful and make up for the lack of experience with their enthusiasm and humor. The food quality is good and service is generally quick except when the school is in session, which is pretty much only when this location is open!Vegetarian options: Lots of flat bread sandwiches

If you’re worried about insects ruining your eating experience, fear not, this location’s tables are equipped with the latest technology that ensures no escape for them and could provide you comfort on days where your schedule is packed and you had to skip shaving, just rest your legs on the table and let the miracle of physics takes your breath and hair away, and if you’re a student, you won’t have to worry about your papers falling off the desk, ever. If you feel overwhelmed by the unreasonable expectations from your uneducated phd holder, come here and have a sip of their unbeatable collection of coffees, its temperature will take you on a journey through Alaska and its taste will keep your mind and body preoccupied, bring your own toilet paper. I go to Panera often, this location could use some love. I’ll remove review once improvements been made, thank you.

They messed up my ordered delivered via doordash. I called the store to attempt to get it corrected. The first time they hung up when they transferred me to the cafe. The next two attempts it rang about 15 times then they hung up.

Sandwiches and soups are nice. Great place to study in!

Great food, great service. I’m particularly fond of one of their employees, Joel. He makes the best Mediterranean Veggie sandwiches, and he’s a very handsome young man.

OKAY!I am big fan of the broccoli cheddar soup. Only complaint is the children being loud and rambunctious while I'm trying to sip on my supper. I also need assistance with singing up for the "SIP CLUB"..... whatever that menas..... My daughter really loves this establihsment.

This place sucks. Their sandwiches are sloppy. Their bagels are barely toasted and they give you the cream cheese and make you smear it yourself. The coffee is cold and disgusting. This place has serious work to do.

In all New Brunswick this is the sole Panera Bread however it’s management has not been equalizing the quality of its service to the standard of Panera Bread. For instance, I discovered the world map on its coffee bar which had been drawn by ignored stains of coffee spills, and even there had been no coffee at all until I asked the waitress to bring the coffee. The waitress was not in a pleasant mood and seemingly was not aware of customers around her and I asked her the price for the cheese bread and she was like “our store is small we don’t have that”, so I ordered a cinnamon roll and a beagle and she just threw a beagle that I never like. Not a good experience at all.
