“I’m glad I stopped by on a whim. I was greeted by a small, cozy cafe and got a yummy London fog latte, which had a good strong lavender flavor. Pets are welcomed, which I found out when a cute poodle walked in and jumped on the couch. There is a parking lot, which is a huge bonus in NB. My only issue is that sometimes this place is too busy xD. It’s super popular and frequented by Rutgers students, so finding a table and navigating around the tables may be hard :(.I didn’t see any Iranian/Persian sweets or specials but I guess I wasn’t looking closely enough.“
“Excellent cute little local spot which is better than some of the chains. The tea is always excellent and well made and the bubbles are perfect. Lots of variety as well. As a Rutgers student this is well worth the trip to George St. and the bus stop isn't even to far to get back to College Ave. Way better than Akihi!“
“Love, love, love this place forever and will always be my go-to spot for great vibes and drinks! Riley and Parker are such amazing bartenders and keep the vibes up in the pub at all times! The drinks are some of the best I've had in New Brunswick, and the prices are just reasonable compared to some subpar drinks I've paid more for in other pubs in the area.“
“This is the absolute best gluten free bread my family and I have ever had and we have tried ALOT of gf breads. We have had to order gluten free bread on many occasions from California because that was the only good one we could find, so to have an even BETTER one available right here in NJ is such an unexpectedly amazing find. It is so hard to find fresh, soft gf sour dough bread and if you’re gluten free you know how amazing it is to finally find something that is actually delicious and tastes like bread! I visited the cafe today and the staff was so helpful, kind, and generous and gave me a lot of helpful information on the bread. I will definitely be ordering more online!“
“Stopped in here while traveling for work and was pleasantly surprised. I had the New Orleans cold brew coffee and it was absolutely delicious, nice selection of baked goods too, would recommend.Dietary restrictions: Non dairy milk options available“
“Best Ethiopian cuisine in New Jersey and one of our favorite restaurants. The food is amazing and we can never get enough. Family-style eating at its best. We especially love the beef and lamb dishes, and the veggies are awesome, especially the collard greens. Highly recommended.“
“I’m pretty picky with foods that I like and I’m trying this kind of food for the first time, but I really liked it. I thought the sauce was amazing. The food was great and there was something about it. It did not feel like junk food and I didn’t have much guilt eating it. Definitely coming back for more. And I’m so glad they’re Halal!Dietary restrictions: All their food is Halal.“
“Masala Chai is actually the chai Indians make at home, not the pseudo versions you have at cafes. They make the chai right in front of you in a chai pan ?Bombay sandwich and Avocado toast are a must to try.I visit New Brunswick for meetings, and this place a much drop in for breakfast and chai.“
“Preface: atmosphere is pretty negligible because it's purely a takeout place with a (very very small, like 4 standing people) inside. But service is fast and overall it's a good place for a quick burger and fries. The burgers might be lacking a little in terms of juiciness, but overall they have great taste, and I would recommend the Smokeshow. I think the onion ring gets overpowered, though. The Cajun fries didn't taste very Cajun to me, but they were alright. I would compare them to Five Guys fries. The Cajun fries have similar texture but are lacking somewhat in taste. I would recommend the poutine over them, but obviously the poutine is more expensive.Vegetarian options: Has an impossible burger“
“Awesome place for comfort food in New Brunswick. The Mac n cheese bites are awesome. They pair it with a homemade “Big Mac sauce”. The cheese fries were great too, I believe they have their own homemade cheese sauce. Everything is priced in line with what you would expect for a local restaurant. It came to $35 for two people. Parking is a challenge but that’s New Brunswick for you.“
“We arrived early and were able to be seated. I made reservations for their new room, the “Cove” advertised as more intimate. Thinking quiet, perfect for date night. There were 2 large tables of 8 or more. Tables close together so noise level was at a high. Food was good. Lobster bisque, prawns, sea bass, pappardelle.“
