The food took SO long. I was seriously so confused at why the food was taking so long. No reasoning or apologies. Food was decent tho - I had the the stuffed shrimp & mojito. Mojito was sour. Won't be back.

What happened to the nachos!??? Used to be amazing. Now they scatter a few crappy chips on a sheet-pan. Sux

Wifey and I went down to New Brunswick this afternoon to take our son to lunch at Old Man Rafferty's. Since it was a holiday...and a Monday, the place wasn't packed. We were seated at a table near the front window so we could also do some people watching. Our server gave us a couple minutes to check out the drink menu and Wifey had the Blood Orange Gin and Tonic and I had an Ommegang Three Philosophers (an excellent beer). They have a great menu here so don't think this is just pub food (though that's what we got). Wifey decided on the 1/2 sandwich (chicken salad) and tomato soup combo, my son had the Nashville chicken sliders, and I had the Rueben sandwich (with corned beef). We also ordered the Bavarian hot pretzel for an appetizer...it comes with a stone ground honey mustard and a cheese sauce. I gotta say, the food was simply great. My wife's tomato soup was honestly one of the best I've had and my Reuben was just about perfect. The corned beef was moist and tender and really flavorful. My son's sliders were really tasty, but he was hoping for spicier. We finished up with some coffee which was also surprisingly good. Overall, a solid effort. The service at the end was a little slow, but the food and the vibe here were great.

Have been coming here for many years, always enjoyed the menu especially the several different offerings of various burgers. Was there last week and the menu has been changed, they no longer offer various meat varieties in their burgers, big disappointment. Ordered the meatloaf which was ok, mashed potatoes were great but the peas and carrots were frozen, can do better than that! Also one of my all time favorite mixed drinks on the menu was the gin and blood red orange, the waitress said it was replaced with a gin and apple cider, news flash, most gin drinkers do not want apple cider in their gin, horrible combination!!! Not sure if I will be back anytime soon! So sad!

always a good meal! Service is always quick and helpful. The burrata ravioli and raspberry swirl cheesecake never disappoint. Drinks are always fun as well :) !

I got the bread appetizer and the burger with sweet potato fries. The bread itself was good and very fresh. However the spreads were disgusting. Especially, the hummus. It was almost laughable. The burger was undercooked and chewy. It was so bad I sent it back and didn't order anything else. The sweet potato fries were solid but I have had better. The best thing was the waitress, she was very sweet. I would never go back. Burger - 1/5 Sweet potato fries - 3.5/5 Bread - 4/5 Spreads for bread - 1/5

Old Man Rafferty's!! First time I came her was about 25 years ago and many times since. My wife and I are Rutgers alumni (where we met 20+ years ago) and were visiting for a college tour for our daughter, bringing back all the memories and feels. Raffertys hands down never fails. The food is great pub/bar grub. I didn't get the pizza this time, but if memory serves me correct, it's a super thin crispy bar pie. Drinks are always flowing. The shop attached always has great gifts (or desserts) to take home. Parking is usually not too bad with all the decks and spots around, but you may walk a block or two, so watch for weather. I ordered the Prime Rib French Dip and it did not disappoint - definitely worth the $22. We went for lunch right at 12 and sat immediately for a party of 6. Excellent service, everyone loved their food, and the nostalgia factor hit home.

Not your ordinary way on some of the menu items. Which was great. They were all delicious and enjoyed by us all. Great food & place to go to. Can't wait to go back & try something else.

I came here for a late lunch/ early dinner today. It was a relatively large group but the service was still quick and kind. The mozzarella wedges had a great cheese pull and were nice and hot when served. I love Burrata so I was excited to try the ravioli. The serving size was huge so I ended up taking most to go. I've heard good things about their desserts but didn't have room to eat them today. I would be interested in trying some chocolate cake next time!

This restaurant was worth the wait! Pros- the Sticky Asian Ribs were amazing ab do also enjoyed the Seared Ahi Tuna. The server was pleasant and the ambiance was nice. Cons- the Boom Boom Shrimp batter was too heavy for my liking and I didn’t like the flavor. There’s no parking lot dedicated to the patrons so you have to lay a meter and mine didn’t work.

I met a group of former co-workers for lunch on a quiet Thursday. I started a job in the area but had not visited. It's been here a long time and it's got a nice atmosphere and ambiance. Good spot for a cocktail afterwork or while watching a game. I ordered the Turkey club on rye bread with homemade potato chips, my co-workers had a large bowl of tomato soup with slices of grilled cheese, and a grilled chicken sandwich with French Fries. My Turkey club was amazing. Thick enough where you could not get your entire mouth around the sandwich. Outstanding! The potato chips were bland but the portion was very generous. My co-worker finished her bowl of tomato soup, assumed she like it, and my co-worker enjoyed his chicken sandwich with FF. The service was very good. We were in and out within an hour which is great if you are doing lunch on a timer. There is no street parking around and you'll probably park in a public lot. There was outside dining as well. Prices were very reasonable. I can't wait to go back.
