I'm a big fan of Steakhouse 85. I've been coming here for years and I've never had a bad meal. I only have one complaint. Please enforce the dress code. I don't understand the backwards cap at the table. The sloppy and dirty clothes were also present. It takes away from the dining experience.

If you love steak, this is the place to go but make reservations as it is crowded . They had live music on a Saturday night . Everything is ala crarte and pricey but delicious flavors await . The lobster bisque was creamy and had a rich flavor (could have used a bit more lobster )but it did have a small amount of lobster pieces . The steak was seasoned well and the petite filet was perfectly cooked and accompanied on plate with a slice of tomato . The delmonico was a bit tougher so stick with the filet The apple pecan salad was flavorful and all of the sides including lobster macaroni and cheese and onion rings, fries, and burrata were tasty The shrimp cocktail had tjeee huge shrimp pieces . We did not have room for dessert but it looked good the bar service was slow yet it was crowded

Had the 8 oz filet mignon. Medium with charred outside and it was perfect.

The place and the atmosphere were spectacular, we ordered and the order took 50 minutes to arrive and it arrived cold. We didn't return it because we were hungry and we had already waited too long. At the time of orderingOn the bill, we informed the waiter about the nonconformity of the meat and he answered us in a very rude manner as to why not.We had informed him before eating it. This bothered us a lot since the food is expensive and it was the first time we went to this place to which we will not return. The tables are too small, 5 points for the menu with light very innovative and comfortableFor the client

I was very disappointed with this steakhouse. The food was subpar. I ordered the lamb chops and my fiancé ordered the ribeye steak. The steak was fatty and dry. I did not like the mint flavor of the lamb. Our server was not attentive whatsoever. He did not come back to the table to ask how our dinner was, we kept asking other waiters for things we needed for the table i.e steak sauce. I gave two stars because the atmosphere was good.Parking: Paid parking. Parking lot across from restaurant.

The dining experience was great and all employees were very attentive. I started with a Peared Up Mocktail, had 2 by the end of the night. I loved the crab cake. The lobster bisque didn't quite meet my expectations. I was also underwhelmed by the lobster risotto and the filet with sea bass, which was missing the lobster tail - I didn't realize this until I was gone. The porterhouse was a little better. The side dishes are shareable and my favorite was the creamed spinach. The caramel apple tart was a good ending.

Dinner was wonderful. Food was delicious. Only reason I'm giving it a 4 is because our steaks were a bit over done. My husband got his Delmonico MR and I got my ribeye M. Overall would absolutely recommend. Their French onion soup was delicious.

We went to Dinner at Steakhouse 85 before a show at the State Theater. Here are the Pro's/Cons and the reason for the rating. Pros: Very Nice Place, close to parking and The host was VERY accommodating in moving our reservation closer to our show time Cons: I ordered a Manhattan at the bar while waiting for our table. I asked for Rye and the bartender said our Angels Envy is priced around $16 for that drink, bill came later to our table and it was $23 so was upcharged almost 50%. The apps were good but the steak was very average. I ordered the Cowboy , my friend the NY strip and both of us felt the steak were not great. BTW our bill was $540 for 4 people (included tip) so know what you are going to spend.

I have nothing but good things to say about steak 85. Every time I've always been there the service and food has always been amazing. The ambiance is nice as well. They get 5 Stars all around from me. Went there on a couples dates and everyone was satisfied with the service and food . Wouldn't hesitate to go back there. Also Moscato is the only wine I drink , most steakhouses don't even carry it but that did and it was so good.

I wish I had read the steak reviews. Drove an hour to dine, ordered the cowboy steak medium it was more like chuck steak it was way too chewy and couldn't swallow it, I get better ribeye at Shoprite - the drinks were not good either. very disappointing.
