Came in for a quick takeout for lunch. There was no one at the counter. The dining room waiter ignored me until I asked him for help. Food was ready quickly, but sat on the counter for 10 minutes while the waiter ignored me, another customer waiting to pay, and two customers ready to order. To add insult to injury … the takeout containers, both soup and lunch, leaked profusely, soaked the brown bag so badly i had no way of bringing food into the office. Chucked it into nearest garbage can.

This has been the best and most authentic Chinese food in the area for thirty years. Since changing ownership several years ago, it has only improved. Now there are Shanghainese specialties like the pan fried pork buns which are amazing. Other dishes that we love are the Peking duck, seafood pan fried noodles, fried tofu with chopped shrimp, and the casseroles. Love love love this place. If you don’t know what to order, ask for Lynn and she will help you order.

Arrived for pickup as requested 45 minutes after placing the order. Waited another 45 minutes for the order (totaling an hour and a half) to be finally ready. Impolite, no reasons provided, discourteous (not even some tea offered while waiting). Restaurant was virtually empty both upon arrival and while waiting (two small groups sat at tables toward the end) — never a good sign to visit an empty restaurant during regular hours…!!Lastly, the food was bland, virtually without taste, spicing, or flavor. This faux, Chinese-style food and service should absolutely be avoided. It's a waste of time, energy, and appetite.

We are a Chinese Chorus of many people who often come to dine in after a concert or taking out for our events. They never disappoint us. Food are always delicious.

The best authentic Chinese food you can get in central Jersey! My Shanghai friends highly recommended this place to us and so lucky we didn’t miss it. Definitely try their moon cake(鲜肉月饼),exactly same falvor you can get in Shanghai, with crispy crust and juicy ground pork filling. 熏鱼is our favorite! Deep fried fish soaked sweet sour sauce! The owner is very warm, come to check several times. She also gives us some free fish to try, so sweet! We will definitely come back!

Poor customer service, staff seemed very disorganized and missed an item from my order. Food was average. Restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. Will be sticking to the other Chinese restaurant in town for sure.

Absolutely ridiculous level of messing up orders. I have ordered from them around 10 times and never once have they gotten the order right. It’s their own online system and the receipt is right so it’s not a misunderstanding, they just can’t put the right item in the bag.Good food but check your order before leaving and budget time for fixing it!

It's a really good Chinese restaurant. Many reviews might say that the orders take long, but it is because their food ain't pre-made. The service was great even tho it was only one person serving us, but all and all its pretty

Ignore the haters. Yes, they have staffing issues (i.e. no one at front desk all the time) but the prices are also reasonable. Food tastes great. Owner/staff are pleasant and kind.

I had a disappointing experience with the pepper steak entree from Szechuan Delight Chinese in New Providence, NJ. The steak was tough and overcooked, lacking the expected tenderness. Additionally, the seasoning was quite bland, and the dish lacked the desired flavor kick that Szechuan cuisine is known for. Overall, it didn't live up to my expectations, and I wouldn't recommend it.
