Great smooth flavored coffee served in a tiny shop with great pastries and friendly baristas.Only downside is it is not wheelchair accessible.

Do not bother ordering a matcha anything. The barista gave me a WHITE matcha latte. I was so confused. I brought it to the cashier’s attention who asked me how it tasted. Me: “like milk”. He added more matcha and it barely became green. I left barely-touched cup of tinted Oatmilk outside the Salvation Army. I’ve been drinking matcha for nearly 6 years, a few times a week — I know how it tastes but also how it’s supposed to be prepared and how it looks. So disappointed. The owners should train their baristas how to prepare matcha OR just take it off the menu. I walked 15 mins during lunch break for this. Wish I would’ve taken a pic of the FIRST pass so y’all could be as equally flabbergasted as I was. Ugh.

Inviting, friendly, and great vibe! I had the London Fog. It was good. I ordered the Avocado toast, but they were out.

I tried to reach out them on email, but they didn't respond.Hi, Black Swan Management Team.I came to the store yesterday trying to find one of the management team there. Unfortunately, nobody was available.Last Saturday my wife had one of your pastries (a scargot with some cheese on top....I don't know the correct name) and she's been sick since that, with stomach ache, vomiting and diarrhea for the whole weekend.Be more careful with what you guys are serving to your customers.

The lady here knows how to make a fantastic London Fog. It's one of my favorite drinks but almost no one makes them well. I'll be back just for this reason. I also had gotten a few pastries and breads, so far each one I've had was great. The place itself is very cute, and has limited seating if you want to stay there a while. It's well located along commute roads if you are looking for a to go coffee, though I just stopped in to relax.

Nice little cafe with lots of options. I had the iced london fog milk tea which was sweeter than i would have preferred but still good. No vegan food options and no bathroom. Also very limited seating. One table couldn’t fit two laptops which was annoying. Otherwise a good vibe and coffee was good!Vegetarian options: No vegan food options

Definitely the best coffee in Newark. Cappuccino I had this afternoon was great! Space is a little small but the best in the area!

Such a cute little coffee shop! They have some of the best coffee I've ever tasted with delicious baked goods. The staff is nice and friendly. They didn't mind repeating themselves when asked & this was the first time in a while I haven't had to mention my disability. I stopped in during the weekday at about 10:15a. I only waited a few minutes then more started to come in. The shop is small so I wouldn't suggest entering with a wheelchair, but it's not impossible. Overall, this is a great hidden gem if you're in the mood to study, WFH, or have coffee without feeling obligated to visit a corporate establishment.

Nice little gem in the heart of newark. Balthazar pastry is nice bonus.
