Absolutely horrible service lady seemed annoyed, even upset that i had come and interrupted her watching a show in her car and when i got there all the prices were covered up with black tape and she had to call the owner and ask her what i should charge him because they thought i didnt speak spanish and the food is average carnival level food nothing special and theyre “sauce” is just ketchup and mayo

The chimis are just ok. They have the prices covered and charge whatever they see fit. They do not have a menu online with updated pricing. Beware.

Very disappointed with their dishonesty. They cover the prices to be able to charge what they see fit for their convenience. I bought some chimis which were not good or authentic. They have a price online and then they charge you another price more than what you see online. They are ripping people off. Buyer Beware.

Coming from Washington heights, this place is the best in nj! The food is made fresh to order. So good!! Can’t go wrong with anything. Very clean truck too. This is my new spot now. They also have Uber ears, door dash and grub hub. Open till late too. Food isn’t greasy either.

Horrible experience at this food truck today. Their prices are ridiculously high for the quality of food. Very disappointing! $45 a person for a dish is ridiculously high.

I don't know where this people are from but definitely not Dominicans. Worst orejitas ever!!! They taste reheated or fried in old and very used oil. A waste of time and money. Just

Title: Disappointing Experience at Friztanga CibaoI recently visited Friztanga Cibao food truck last week with high hopes of indulging in their Chimi sandwich. However, luck wasn't on my side as they were sold out, leaving me to explore other options from their menu. Opting for the Con Tu’ plantain with Dominican sausage and pork, I was met with an unexpectedly steep price that left me astounded and dissatisfied. While I understand that prices can sometimes deviate from what's displayed on the boards, the difference here was quite significant. The initial $25 for a similar meal in Washington Heights turned into a staggering $45 at Friztanga Cibao. This marked increase in price was an initial shock, but I was willing to accept it if the meal truly lived up to its value. However, upon receiving the dish, my disappointment only grew. The menu had claimed that the Con Tu’ plantain dish could comfortably feed two people, but the reality fell short of that promise. What was served to me was a composition that was heavily skewed towards the plantain component, making up around 75% of the dish, while the meat portion only amounted to a mere 25%. This imbalance was disappointing, especially given the price I had paid.Considering the fact that Friztanga Cibao operates as a food truck, my expectations were perhaps slightly adjusted. However, the $45 price tag left me questioning the justification for such exorbitant pricing. At that cost, one could easily dine at a high-end restaurant, receiving not only an appetizer, a main course, and a drink, but also an overall higher quality dining experience. In conclusion, my visit to Friztanga Cibao was far from satisfying. The steep price of $45 for the Con Tu’ plantain dish felt unjustified, given the disproportionately large portion of plantains in relation to the meat. While I'm open to appreciating unique dining experiences, I couldn't help but feel that I had been taken advantage of in terms of both pricing and the promised meal composition. If Friztanga Cibao aims to maintain its reputation, I sincerely hope they reconsider their pricing strategy and work towards delivering a more balanced and fulfilling experience for their customers.

I have come twice and both times closed, and that they open depends on the time they close the night before!!!

On our stop over from Hawaii heading to Italy, we stayed at the Crowne Plaza in Englewood and found this gem!Very super friendly, it rained and she wiped down the seats for us and even got our dog a bowl of ice water! I'm Dominican but I haven't had authentic Dominican food in along while but I got my last filled before heading to Italy today. If your Dominican you grew up having the tres golpes for breakfast which they had and it's made to order fresh, it takes a little bit of time but for fresh mangu, fried eggs, salchichon, queso frito why not wait. It was a trip down memory lane for me.All the food was freshly made and tasted so good. The outside seating was great as the day was a pleasant summer day. I recommend this restaurant to people traveling or living in the area
