A favorite place for delicious bar food. I like it here, excellent food & service. I had a brother come into town and he asked me to go back here. I can see why they have so many good reviews.

bar food at this location - very good. Food was so tasty. I'll return with my relatives. The bill won't shock you. Kinda of like a cafe in Phoenix that I enjoyed.

I have been to this spot in the past before. On this particular evening the first thing I see is a sign saying the credit card machine is down so I could only order drinks with the little cash I had on me. The bartender was so so. I went with a large group and one of the girls order chicken nachos and she said it was nasty mainly because it had the dollop of sour cream on each chip. It didn't look too appealing.

Food is excellent there's a lack on the customer's service when dinning in .

If you like banana Kings( In Elizabeth, unión city, nyc ) you will love this sandwich. The toast is perfect. Not too much bread and perfect amount of grilled chicken. It's called the blacken chicken sandwich. It had a small kick of spice and lots of chicken. I added mayonnaise to mine to make it 100% banana kingish Hahahaha. The sweet potatoes were lit. This is like a dive bar in in the Ironbound. I drink lagunitas here. Prices are cheap !

What happened to this place? Used to be a regular and come here before every Devils' game. Had a bad experience the last two times but thought we give it one more chance. As we walked in,we asked to get a table for 7. We were asked at the bar or a table? We said table. The host/waiter seemed annoyed and asked if all of us were there. I said two are coming in shortly. Also need to say that only 1 table was full, the rest of the place was empty. We get seated and realize the place is really cold, as it has been on the last two times (during which times we were told that their fryer was not working so they had a very limited menu) Anyway the host/waiter asked what I want to drink and I said Angry Orchard that I saw on draft. He said that it is in a bottle as I proceeded to ask what other cider they have in a bottle he rattled of the 4 draft beers they had on tap. The rest of my friends tried to decide what they will drink from the extensive draft menu not hearing that they only have 4 beers. I took the opportunity to ask what happened to this place that it is so empty. The host/waiter said that it is too early. I said you couldn't get in here before a Devils' game it used to be so packed. He continued to state that Devils suck so not too many people come. I was taken back. Meanwhile my friends decided on beers from the menu and of course not hearing earlier that there are only 4 "crappy" beers on tap started ordering from their actual menu. The host/waiter said I just repeated them did you not hear me? Well this was just too much. We got up and left. We will never be back. It is just so sad that this is what has happened to this once great place. The attitude, the atmosphere and the food has gone way down. We went up to Redd's and Edison Ale House and the places were popping. Amazing that by the host/waiter saying that "Devils suck so no one comes" did not have an effect on these establishments. Maybe you need to reconsider your business plan unless it is not to be in business soon, then you are doing a great job!!!!! So sad.

The bartender can be a little snippy sometimes. The menu has drastically changed and its barely anything on it. I never really see many people in here unless its a sporting event. Im wondering why they removed the dancing pole

Have been an on and off regular for years and used to love it but over the last 1-2 years they have dropped so far down. Four out of five times I go they're out of something-don't have my beer of preference and not even my second choice, have to ask for whatever generic generic they have; food wise they have a pretty nice menu but when ordering something I'm told they don't have that. I don't understand how a service industry business can constantly be out of product. I get if once or twice you run low but it's been pretty consistent with the lack of choices lately. I used to recommend this place and I now I recommend avoiding it to avoid being disappointed. Even their live shows have become boring and redundant and not appealing or enticing to stick around. It's not even worth the single star I had to give just to able to post this. You're better off grocery shopping and making your own food and entertainment at home.

I have been a regular here for a few years now. Specifically, my husband, family, friends and I like to come for happy hour, before concerts, on New Year's Eve, and for brunch on the weekends. Recently, the bar has a new owner. They have hugely cut the hours and changed the menu. Just today we stopped in for lunch and the menu is so slim there were maybe only 5 things to choose from. We were told the fryer was not working so we couldn't have fries with our burger, but the burgers had onion rings on them soooo...? Also, they did not have a beer they said was available on draft. Finally, this is supposed to be a NJ Devils bar and we had to ask for the game to be turned on, and then it was on one small TV and without sound. I'm actually terribly sad that our favorite bar is essentially gone. There are lots of good restaurants to choose from in the Ironbound, but I did think Hell's Kitchen had found a good niche in food, drink and atmosphere. We will not be back.
