The food tastes quite well. Even though they occasionally make mistakes, they will make every effort to fix them if you inform them of it. I've been coming here for years. particularly for the unique Eid brunch. But this review is meant to be read during Ramadan. They provided the food promptly, and it was delicious and fresh. Our server was great, and he quickly tried to adjust our order despite a few mistakes. Overall good service, pricing, and food.

Don't get the salmon cakes tasteless.. grits could have been better wasn't even hot! I wasted my money that day and the toast was cold!!!Parking: Lucky if you find street parking but they do have a free small parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible

Took an out town co worker there on Jan 29 spent about $70 they gave me a bad potato salad m. We didn’t eat at restaurant we had so much food so took it home realize next day it was bad. I still spent another $17 and they could not make good on a potato salad! They CANCELED! Will never spend my money there again! They not even as good as they use to be! Lost a good customer!!!

I've spent years visiting this place. especially for the special Eid breakfast. Still, this review is intended for Ramadan. The food was fresh and tasty, and they served it quickly. Although there were a few errors, our waiter was excellent and made a quick attempt to correct our order. Overall decent food, prices, and service.
Great Black-Owned spot to eat, relax, and socialize if need be. Good environment, service, and choice of meals. Great location in the heart of Newark, remaining accessible to those who do not have access to an experience like this on a regular basis.
